When the owners of this beautiful property in Son Gual were ready to sell, they weren’t convinced that the interior showcased the villa in its best light. The location offered an attractive selling point, but the inside of the property was empty and without furnishings. Professional Home Staging consultant and interior designer, Justine Knox, was called in to help the property seduce buyers and guarantee a sell. This is the second Home Staging project Justine has worked on for this owner, having already sold the first property successfully.

La ubicación ofrecía un atractivo punto de venta, pero el interior de la propiedad estaba vacío y sin mobiliario. La consultora profesional de Home Staging y diseñadora de interiores, Justine Knox, fue llamada para ayudar a los propietarios a seducir a los posibles compradores y garantizar la venta. Este es el segundo proyecto de Home Staging en el que Justine ha trabajado para este propietario, habiendo vendido ya la primera propiedad con éxito.

Als die Eigentümer dieses schönen Anwesens in Son Gual zum Verkauf bereit waren, fanden sie, dass das Interieur der Villa in einem besseren Licht erscheinen sollte. Die Lage war ein attraktives Verkaufsargument, aber die Räume des Anwesens waren leer und ohne Einrichtungsgegenstände. Die professionelle Home Staging-Beraterin und Innenarchitektin Justine Knox wurde als Verkaufsgarant engagiert, denn sie hatte die Eigentümer bereits bei dem Verkauf eines anderen Objekts erfolgreich unterstützt.

LETTING IN LIGHT

One of the biggest alterations Justine made was to the open plan living and kitchen area. Infusing natural light was key to the brief, where prospective owners could appreciate the villa’s naturally bright ambience. White voile curtains were added to soften the floor-to-ceiling glass windows and brighter statement pieces were positioned to give the space some colour. The peagreen linen sofa and matching bar stools are just one example of Justine’s use of contrast, which works to stay in the mind of the buyer. This carries though into the bedrooms, where white remains dominant for light, but bold leafy patterns give the space a Mediterranean twist. Artwork by local artist Sylvia Baker de Perkal was also added to compliment the colour scheme.

DEJAR ENTRAR LA LUZ

Uno de los cambios más importantes que realizó Justine fue en la zona del salón y la cocina de planta abierta. La luz natural era la clave del proyecto, para que los futuros propietarios pudieran apreciar el ambiente naturalmente luminoso de la villa. Se añadieron cortinas de gasa blanca para suavizar los ventanales de cristal que van del suelo al techo y se colocaron piezas más llamativas para dar color al espacio. El sofá de lino verde y los taburetes de la barra a juego son sólo un ejemplo del uso que hace Justine del contraste, que funciona perfectamente para permanecer en la mente del comprador. Esto se traslada a los dormitorios, donde el blanco sigue siendo el color dominante, pero los atrevidos diseños de hojas dan al espacio un toque mediterráneo. También se añadieron obras de arte de la artista local Sylvia Baker de Perkal para complementar la combinación de colores.

LICHT IN DEN RAUM LASSEN

Eine der größten Veränderungen, die Justine vornahm, betraf den offenen Wohn- und Küchenbereich, wobei das Einbringen von natürlichem Licht der Schlüssel zum Erfolg war. Das Ergebnis ist ein ansprechendes, lichtdurchflutetes Ambiente, das zum Verweilen einlädt. Weiße VoileVorhänge schmücken die deckenhohen Fenster, während kräftigere Akzente durch Statement-Stücke dem Raum Farbe verleihen. Das erbsengrüne Leinensofa und die dazu passenden Barhocker sind nur ein Beispiel für Justines Einsatz von Kontrasten, die beim zukünftigen Besitzer Eindruck hinterlassen sollen. Ein ähnliches Muster setzt sich auch in den Schlafzimmern fort, wo Weiß für Licht sorgt und markante Blattmuster dem Raum eine mediterrane Note verleihen. Gemälde der lokalen Künstlerin Sylvia Baker de Perkal runden das Farbschema in den Innenräumen ab.
