The Knox-Lombard Athletic Hall of Fame The Hall of Fame inaugurated its first 10 members at a banquet held October 9, 1987. Since its inception, the selection of new members each year is conducted before Commencement. Honorees are then inducted each year at a banquet held during the fall.

The Hall of Fame is named after Allan P. Christiansen, noted athlete, former Knox director of admissions, and an inaugural inductee to the Hall of Fame. It is prominently housed in the Allan P. Christiansen Gallery on the main floor of the Memorial Gymnasium-Fieldhouse complex on the Knox campus. Here, in this central space, are honored the legendary “greats” of both Knox and Lombard— those women and men who have made the most outstanding contributions to athletics at the two colleges.
