SEPTEMBER HIGHLIGHTS I know, I know, it’s still a little early for sweater weather. I can’t help myself - as soon as I see “Back to School” signs in the stores, I start planning out all of my fall and winter projects. My Ravelry queue has almost 1700 patterns in it – you could say that my knitting-eyes are bigger than my knitting-stomach.

We have two new yarns to tickle your fingers! First, the return of Stroll Tweed! We’ve given our tweed sock yarn an overhaul, and it’s available in 24 beautiful heathered shades with neutral colored Donegal nepps. Sure, it’ll make beautiful socks, but I’m really looking forward to using it for lightweight-yet-warm

accessories and garments, maybe some machine-washable colorwork projects as well.

Next up, we have Wool of the Andes Superwash. We’ve had a number of requests for a hardwearing workhorse superwash that can stand up to both use and abuse. Wool of the Andes Superwash is the same micron count as Wool of the Andes, but has been treated so that it can be machine washed on cold and then gently tumbled dry on low.

It’s a great price for easy care 100% wool, too. (Don’t worry, we still carry Swish in both worsted and DK weights for snugglysoft projects that call out for superwash merino!)

My favorite news in this catalog, though, is the arrival of our second full-length pattern collection, Reclaimed. We had such great success with First Light this past Spring, and this new selection of work from 13 different independent designers is just as amazing.

Richly textured sweaters and tunics, modern accessories, and a gorgeous color palette all come together in this 104 page printed book.
