October was nothing short of a blockbuster at Knight Frank Kenya this year! With every day packed with excitement, we witnessed milestone celebrations, game-changing projects brewing behind the scenes, and the long-awaited short rains finally making their grand entrance. It was a month that kept us on the edge of our seats. Let’s jump right in to who, what and when!
Affordable Housing and Urbanization Week
Mombasa’s own Sammy Mukala took centre stage in the Affordable Housing and Urbanization Week, giving a talk on making affordable housing truly accessible. From broker roles to government-backed loans through KMRC, Sammy dug deep into how buyers can connect with affordable units, banks, and SACCOs. We’re all about turning dreams of homeownership into reality—one panel at a time. Good stuff, Sammy!

Our Welfare Committee donated to Nairobi Hospice and delivered essentials to Anduru Educational Centre’s kids, who lit up with excitement (and so did we!). Special thanks to our outgoing Chair Andrew Gaturi and HR guru Winnie Ongwae, who were there to spread the love. This spirit of giving has become a cherished tradition that we hold close

With health at the top of our agenda, our Knight Frank team showed up at the Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon. Running 21km and the 10km wasn’t just a physical feat; it was a win for wellness, resilience, and commitment. Health is wealth, and mind over body is truly the way to go. Kudos to all our finishers! Even if you didn’t finish at least you have a T-shirt!!
IT Department Huddle: Tech & Togetherness
The IT trio held their annual huddle at VetLab Sports Club to chat all things tech and goals. Led by Simon Mbugua, they covered exciting advancements in AI, and even looked to Australia’s tech dashboards for inspiration on how we can also better our systems. And as they say, a team that bowls together, grows together—they hit the lanes at Sarit Centre for some quality bonding.
