ABOUT RICARDO BOTÓS DA SILVA NEVES

Ricardo Botós da Silva Neves is the founder partner of Monteiro & Neves Advogados Associados. He counsels clients on a wide range of domestic and international areas, including business contracts, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and wealth management.

Mr. Neves as a lawyer admitted to practice law in Brazil since 1.995, including in the Brazilian Supreme Court.

Since the beginning of his career Mr. Neves has worked in numerous M&A operations, structuring of investment vehicles, specific purpose companies, incorporations of companies, joint ventures, investment funds among others, both in Brazil and abroad.

Mr. Neves advised and implemented operations of Wealth Planning, with resulted in the creation of exclusive investment funds, smart fund, trusts, private foundations, offshore companies, family property holdings, family protocols to organize the succession, avoiding disputes, including partners litigations and to reduce the tax cost of the succession.

Mr. Neves has also represented his clients in hundreds of corporate, property and succession disputes. He devotes special attention to the academy is a Master’s degree in Corporate and Securities at University College London, Specialist in Economic and Company Law at FGV and Specialist in Consumer Relations Law at PUC/SP. Author of dozens of legal articles published in specialized editions in law, newspapers and magazines.
