At Orange we believe that custom travel is an art - finely honed by years of experience. We are a boutique travel company that specialises in creating bespoke, custom, tailor-made travel within the Indian subcontinent. Each trip we create is crafted individually and has its own unique character and influence designed to appeal to the global traveller who is looking at a more immersive experience.

Be it a family holiday, solo travel, a couple, business travel, LGTBQ, or a group tour we are focused towards creating a trip that is not just new, different or authentic but is outstanding to be a once in a lifetime trip.

We believe in staying ahead of the travel trends and as a team are inclined towards identifying new authentic experiences and destinations. Our latest fascination is with sustainable river cruising experiences along the revered Ganges that not just allows you access to otherwise unapproachable destinations but also gives a unique perspective to it.

Orange, was conceptualised in the year 2014 with an India office offering a selective range of intimate and inspiring journeys across the Indian subcontinent. Over the years we had repeat guests wanting to explore the Indian subcontinent beyond India with this we decided to expand our operations to SriLanka, Bhutan, Nepal and Mayanmar. To gain a more hands-on approach and to enable us to reveal the true-spirit of a region we decided to open offices in Sri Lanka, in the year 2016. With 4 regional offices across India, an office in Colombo for SriLanka and affiliate offices in Nepal and Bhutant we cover the Indian Subcontinent with ease. Over the last 7 years we have curated holidays for guests from over 50 luxury travel companies and consortiums from over 10 countires.

I believe, we all have an inherent desire to travel, its in our DNA and hence, Orange is the right choice for discerning as well as luxury traveller. Our primary source markets have been UK, Germany, Switzerland, Nordic Regions, France, South Africa, Russia, and Korea. With a growth in business from UK and around we decided to open a branch office in London that operates as an extension of our business partner’s offices to assist them with destination stories, product understanding, planning, itinerary connect and execution. While our primary source business market is UK, Europe and Scandinavia we witnessed a growth in 2019 from the American market too.

Planning a trip while seeming exciting can just as well be exhausting. The planning can get daunting, it can overwhelm you and there is the fear of falling into the tourist trap and this is where we come in. So, whether it is a tailor-made itinerary, a special interest group, business travel, accommodation, airline booking or planning experiences we take change of it end to end to infuse your trip with a unique sense of adventure and unforgettable individuality.

& hospitality brands but I believe that the worst is over and travel is on its way to recovery. We were no exceptions and have had to restructure our teams and introduce new process and systems while working remotely. As travel is slowly yet surely opening up we are noticing a pent up demand for travel but one of our biggest challenge will be to be ensure the safety of our guests with regards to health & hygiene protocols. We have spent the last few months auditing hotels and small boutique experiences, training our service providers in the supply chain and brining in innovation with regards to experiences that can be more private.

At Orange we are gearing up to reconnect with our clients, keeping the interest for the subcontinent relevant through interactions and above all putting in place stringent safety and hygiene checks.

Another major complexity we face is with regards to sustainability is the mcdonaldization of its aspects. Our practices have already incorporated the usual - no plastic, waste free, reducing carbon footprints etc into our programs but are now more focused toward the societal and economic aspect of supporting the communities and certain less fortunate and privileged segments and wildlife organisations.

Our team brings together a formidable and diverse mix of skill sets and experiences, each one is a seasoned traveler along with being a specialist in planning itineraries / trips but above all, they are all passionate about the Indian subcontinent and are eager to learn what it has to offer and they display a keen eye to detailing. Over the last year we have been viewing trends that revolve around travel that is ‘out of the ordinary’ or travel experiences that are authentic and connect you to the destination. Me and my team’s experience have allowed us access to some exceptional and very passionate individuals from top guide, historians, award winning naturalists, conservationists, royal families, artists, local craftsmen and women who have done some exceptional work for the society.

My 5 key team members manage different source markets. They have been with Orange since its inception and have been working with me for over a decade and a half. This team at Orange is an extended family and over the years we have grown together.

The organisation encourages the team members to peruse their hobbies, talent and skill set. For instance - Ravinder (Rambo) is a fitness consultant and also runs a healthy food café, Ishveen is a certified PADI 3 diver. More recently during the current lockdown, I have successfully completed a certified course with Harvard X on Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies & another certified course from Wageningen University on Sustainable Tourism: Society & Environmental Aspects.

As the pandemic hit Qatar in 2020, and countries around the world went on partial or full lockdown, it made us realise the importance of having our brick and mortar store was just as important as having our website. The orders kept coming in and were overwhelmed but it also boosted our confidence with our presence in the market. We decided now was the perfect time to ask Brainiac Studio to upgrade our website to offer our customers not only an excellent service, but a smoother online experience and did our best to offer same day deliveries for our customers via Ebutler.
