Oceana Yacht Experience

CONCEPT

Setting Sail Designs is a design firm that I came up with to help design both a sustainable yacht terminal as well as a sustainable yacht that was put in place to give back to the oceana marine conservation organization This initiative was intended to serve as a catalyst for larger endeavors encouraging the cruise industry to adopt sustainable practices for the betterment of our planet

Proposed Problems Proposed Solutions

In my research, i identified issues that our oceans face now which included littering and oil spills To address these problems, solutions were implemented, such as incorporating recycled materials like bamboo and glass in both the terminal and yacht Additionally, noise-reduced engines were installed on the yacht to minimize disturbance to sea life Solar energy is also a major key point in this project which the terminal and yacht both operate on

Aesthetic

the overall aesthetic for this project was “elegant essence of the sea” featuring muted natural tones along with incorporating lots of reflections, textures, and natural lighting

Site Location + Destination

The yacht trip route leaves from 300 Alton Road Miami, Fl (Terminal Location) and arrives at Bermuda which is around a 2-3 day trip On average I roughly estimated about 20-30 yacht trips a day to be departing (1-3 yachts per hour) with 12 people boarded on each yacht (4 crew members, 8 volunteers and or guests)

CONCEPT

Twine is a contemporary bohemian restaurant located in Charleston, South Carolina that offers breakfast brunch and lunch Richly inspired by Charlestons rich history, the design embodies interweaving, overlapping textures along with subtle touches of soft edges and bright hues to create a serene intricate ambiance

Rush Retail Shop

CONCEPT

RUSH is a radiant snow, ski, and surf retail store located in Salt Lake City, Utah This retail space encapsulates the “outdoors rush” feeling within its interior, channeling the adrenaline and freedom experienced either on the slopes or in the midst of a wave The design aims to evoke these sensations with upbeat music, vibrant lighting and displays reminiscent of outdoor scenery Intended to elevate mood, the space offers an immersive experience for it’s end user to make the shopping experience easygoing

CocoChanel Residence

CONCEPT

The Coco Chanel residence located in Dubai mirrors the essence of its iconic namesake Notably this design integrates AI to further develop the envisioned concepts for the home Infused with whimsical elegance, the residence features hints of pink and accents of gold, reminiscent of Coco Chanel's personal style infused with a modern twist
