about me.
Currently working as an Architectural Draftsperson, in the commercial sector, I am looking to further develop my skills across a wider range of projects. My current role has provided me with a strong foundation in architectural principles and design thinking, and I am ready to further my knowledge at a new firm.
I thoroughly enjoy the field of architecture because it allows me to be creative and immerse myself in the entire design process, from the initial conception of an idea to the development of physical and digital 3D models.
I am particularly passionate about residential architecture and aspire to create spaces that not only inspire but also enhance the quality of life for their inhabitants. The idea of shaping environments that people call home has always been a driving force for me.
I am eager to continue to progress in my professional journey, where I can develop my skills and knowledge in the industry. My long-term goal is to work diligently toward obtaining architectural registration.

02 Birrarung Reborn.
Reviving Birrarung’s ecosystem through architecture
Birrarung Reborn is a project dedicated to revitalizing the atmosphere and ecosystem reminiscent of the historic Birrarung (Yarra) River surroundings. Over time, urban development has eroded the natural habitat, displacing numerous native flora and fauna species that once thrived along the riverbanks. This project, driven by a dual commitment to conservation and education, endeavors to recreate a portion of this lost environment.
The project seamlessly blends elements of public, mobility, and civic architecture to forge a harmonious space where nature’s resurgence is celebrated alongside the cultural and educational aspects of the river’s heritage. Birrarung Reborn stands as a testament to our collective responsibility in preserving and understanding the rich ecological history of this vital waterway.

03 Massimo Way.
Cost effective renovation
The Massimo Way project was all about achieving remarkable results within the constraints of a limited budget. The main focus was to enhance the appraised value of the residence by revitalizing its existing features. Every architectural intervention was meticulously planned, with a significant portion of the funds strategically allocated to areas that would yield the highest increase in property value.
The budget was approached with great care, considering every aspect from material selection to labor costs. This thoughtful approach allowed us to design the project in a way that the homeowner could take on many of the renovation tasks themselves, contributing to cost savings and a sense of ownership in the transformation process. The Massimo Way project not only added value to the home but also empowered the homeowner to be an integral part of their renovation journey

The Ensuite
Currently one of the homes main features is its generous master suite. Letting this down, is the tired and outdated ensuite. The room currently offers little practicality with outdated amenities.
The homeowner selected this area as one that needed a significant redesign. The request was for a modern practical design with refined finishes.

Existing - Homeowner complained of poor placement of the shower drain.

Form Finding
The building’s form was crafted through a process of pushing and pulling. For spaces requiring ample ceiling height, we pushed the form upward, creating large voids for function like the workshop. Conversely, for areas like offices with more modest space needs, we employed the pull method, optimizing efficiency and functionality.

Micro features - Many smaller place making activities across the site

Center Atrium - A space for gathering in between the two buildings

Platform 1 is an innovative project that transforms an abandoned railway precinct in South Gippsland, Victoria, into a vibrant community hub. The primary goal is to establish a center for education and foster a circular economy for agricultural waste.
The project delves into the creative reuse of farm waste as a construction material, despite its inherent challenges in durability and longevity. To address these issues, it is integrated with permanent building frameworks, enabling the creation of adaptable event spaces.
Furthermore, there is a focus on enhancing the existing, underutilized railway infrastructure with minimal reliance on new materials, making the most of the available resources.

The Workshop
The current process of recycling agricultural waste is riddled with inefficiencies. Farmers often face significant challenges when attempting to transport their waste from their farms to recycling centers, not to mention the associated expenses.
Platform 1 presents an innovative solution to bridge this gap, offering a unique opportunity to empower community groups. This multifaceted initiative includes a dedicated workshop that serves as an educational hub for the community on the principles of a circular economy. Simultaneously, it provides an invaluable space for community groups and individuals to generate funds for their future projects.
One of the primary hurdles in recycling agricultural waste lies in the collection and cleaning processes. By establishing a drop-off and wash facility within Platform 1, we address these critical issues comprehensively. This approach benefits both farmers, who are relieved of the financial burden of waste removal, and community members who can take advantage of this resourceful platform to enhance their own sustainability efforts.
