blue blueprint It is our pleasure to share our latest edition of The Blueprint, a selection of current offerings and recent sales by Kienlen Lattmann Sotheby’s International Realty.

Designed by the renowned architect James Timpson, who developed a signature style of European country homes, the central portion of the white brick residence is taller than the adjoining wings. A steep sweeping roofline, prominent chimneys and all brick define the majestic outline of the exterior. The award-winning Timpson was noted for his designs for prominent residents of New Jersey.

The interior of the open and light-filled five-bedroom home is as striking as the exterior, with sweeps of marble flooring in the entrance foyer and gallery hall, generous use of fine woods, and extensive wainscoting and raised panel detailing throughout.

Ceilings are high throughout the first floor and they soar to twenty feet in selectively chosen rooms—the great room and the breakfast room—giving a sense of expansiveness and ensuring a light-bathed interior. The entrance foyer, anchored by a graceful curved staircase, opens through the gallery hall to the dramatic double-story great room with long views over the manicured five-acre property and beyond to the rolling hills of the neighboring county.
