The medical study programme at Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences educates a new generation of physicians: On the basis of a modern curriculum, students learn the key competences required for the medical profession in an interprofessional, practice-oriented approach and in small groups. The modular structure of the study programme offers continuously in-depth teaching centred on the clinical context, which is based on concrete questions and practical case studies. The entire study programme is accompanied by four cross-sectional areas that include key competences such as medical economic and medical technical knowledge as well as professional development and scientific work.
