The 30 entries to the first ever King’s Lynn Horticultural Society virtual show this summer were of a high standard.
So much so, the judge, Ron Littlechild, declared he found it difficult to separate the winners.
Society Secretary, Kevin Ayres, said the 30 submissions to the 11 classes were of a very high standard.
First place went to Stella Mills who filled a jam jar with a beautiful display of red dahlias and sweet peas. She was awarded a £15 gift voucher to spend at Belford Garden Centre, in South Wootton.
Penny Hipkin came second with her floral art from the garden and earnt a £10 gift voucher from the centre.
Goodwins Hall, King’s Lynn, who entered 10 of the 11 classes, received a £5 voucher from the centre for producing a good sized crop of potatoes from one root in a bucket.
