A Prayer Over Your Successor

Father, I thank you for this season of elevation.

I thank you for the promotion and for granting me another opportunity.

I ask that my successor will thrive in their new role.

I ask that they pick up the baton and run with it.

I ask that they carry on the tasks and fulfill them in a much larger capacity.

I pray that they also have the tools and resources to do so.

I thank you for all you have done for my cup to overflow.

Thank you for these blessings, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
