Anar – Child of the North The origin of Anar comes from a story about northen dwellers. Dwellers, taking their time, wandering about. When roaming in the Nordic, the goal of the journey is not the destination, but the trip itself. In a sense, we are already there – at the destination – even before we start the journey. Because nature – is our destination. We wander in serenity, enjoying it with every single cell of our bodies. As we feel hunger, we start campfire and prepare food. As we feel exhausted, we set up a tent – or lean-to – and take a rest. As we continue our trip, we leave no trace of our camping. We are not the ones to brag with our achievements but instead, enjoy fully what nature – the prerequisite to all life on Earth – has to offer. And we take those small moments deep into our hearts and draw energy from them when we most need it: be it in our work, our relationships or life in the general. ANAR WOODEN MUGS

Anar wooden mugs are ecological and easyto-use. Mug needs coffee fat –treatment to improve durability and prevent flavours to adsorb into the wood.

First: Pour coffee into the mug and let it stay for 2minutes. Pour the coffee away and let the mug dry for a couple of hours, so that pores of wood opens.
•
Second: Take a tablespoon of wet and warn coffee grounds and rub the strongly against mug’s inner walls as long as coffee grounds are dryed. The fat of the coffee will absorb to open pores of wood and creates waterrepellent film.
•
The film prevent mug to get wet or dry and split, and it will prevent flavors to absorb to wooden material. That way treated wooden material will remain antibacterial and water is enough for cleaning. No chemicals needed.
