Ceramic, 30*5*10cm Per Egil Ramsøy ble født i Fredrikstad i 1960. Bosatt i San Fernando på Gran Canaria. Startet med sine første malerier i 1982. 2003-2007 tok han timer hos forskjellige kunstmalere på Gran Canaria. I 2008 begynte han å arbeide i keramikk med veiledning av keramiker Hilde Knutsen, for å lære om keramikk, lage gipsformer og forskjellige brenneteknikker. Han er spesielt interessert i den japanske rakubrenningen. Motivet er som oftest mannskroppen og erotikk, og spill mellom mennesker.

Since 1999 he has worked with fellow Norwegian designer, Øyvind Gundersen. In 2001 they moved to Gran Canaria, where he dedicated more time to his painting. In 2003 he attended art classes with norwegian artist Knut Dahl at Anfi del Mar, and started painting full time. Since 2004 he has been a student of German painter Eva Traumann. In 2006 he opened his workshop in C.C. Botanico, San Fernando, and in 2008 he started working with clay and different burning techniques. His themes are mostly of the male body and its sensuality.
