KEPL Receives Patent for Innovative Design of BB3 Pump KEPL has been granted a patent for the innovative design of their Axially Split multistage (BB3) Pump type KB3D. KEPL is continuously focusing on new product development, efficiency improvements, and increasing their product range. This has enlarged their market offering in different new sectors. The new design of their KB3D pump gives significant improvement over the conventional design. The innovative patented design of “interstage stage cross-over passage” reduces the box pressure on the seal chamber at NDE. The lower box pressure reduces wear and tear on the seals, which leads to longer seal life. The reduced pressure also gives better thrust balancing and bearing life. With the balanced pressure distribution, top and bottom casing joint stability and robustness allow for higher operating pressure, thus the pumps can be used in more demanding applications.

Received prestigious Asian Water Awards 2023 KBL was honoured with the "Community-Based Water Project of the Year - India" award at the Asian Water Awards 2023, presented by Asian Power in Malaysia. The Asian Water Awards is a prestigious recognition program that celebrates and acknowledges excellence in the water sector across Asia. This award is in recognition of one of our projects at the Babina Pumphouse, located in the Babina region of Uttar Pradesh, India. In this project, KBL provided 4 Vertical Turbine (VT) Pump sets enabled with PLC/SCADA and KirloSmart TM, each with a capacity of 35 cusecs (60,000 LPS) and 35 meters of head to lift water from the canal.

KBL presence in the Kisan 2023 event KBL participated in the KISAN 2023 event held at Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre from the 19th to 21st October.
