Powering ISP Parwati Micro Lift Irrigation Scheme

Kirloskar Brothers Limited’s (KBL) vertical turbine (VT) pumps are transforming water management for the ISP Parwati Micro Lift Irrigation Scheme, which supplies water from the Indira Sagar Reservoir to 268 villages across Sehore and Shajapur Districts in Madhya Pradesh, covering 100,000 hectares of farmland. The installation of VT pumps at the Parwati site pumping station for the Narmada Valley Development Authority (NVDA), highlights KBL’s crucial role in ensuring a reliable water supply to vast areas.

Engineered for optimal efficiency and durability, these pumps are designed for vibration-free operation and minimal water loss. This collaboration between KBL and the Government of Madhya Pradesh will ensure distribution of water to farmers for irrigation during Rabi season.
