A Message From Our CEO With the average home price hitting record highs 5 times in 2021, it was an unprecedented year for real estate. This was fuelled by constant demand and a very short supply in the market, especially in the last half of the year. One of the major influences this year was COVID-19, which stopped many homeowners from putting their homes on the market. Sellers did not want strangers coming into their homes at this time. On the other hand, buyers were active and roaming the market to find a house. We have seen bids hit over 50 offers frequently! As we begin 2022, we must learn to live with COVID-19 and the Kirby Chan & Co. Team is prepared to protect our sellers and buyers to act safely and responsibly in executing real estate transactions.
