ABOUT THE VILLAGE

Kila Raipur is one of the renowned villages of district Ludhiana, Punjab. It is intrinsically known for its very famous Sports Festival or Rural Olympics. This parades the strength and capabilities of Punjabi men and women.

DOCUMENTATION The enactment of the village was started from the epicenter of the village i.e. the point of highest elevation ‘Tiyan wala Barota’ which is a tree. The settlement of village grew around this tree.

PROJECT BRIEF

Community centre is an establishment for gathering and interaction amongst the community for social events, educational classes, or other recreational activities. It is the theatre of different activities and hence constitutes a changing environment which is able to adapt to the necessities of its users.

The goal of proposed building is to strengthen and expand its role as a communication place for the locals offering safe, non-commercial space for self-education, creativity, leisure and work. Visitors too would be able to come here in search of knowledge, entertainment or simply led by a sense of community spirit to discuss, learn or even to have some quality quiet time.

PROJECT BRIEF

Primary school is also known as junior school, grade school, or elementary school. It accommodates classes for children of age group 4-11 years. Primary school generally includes the first three grades of elementary school but sometimes also encompass kindergarten Site is located in Phulwari Sharif, Patna, Bihar, India. Bihar is the 3rd largest state in India in terms of population with the lowest literacy rate and even now today it is considered as one of the most educationally backward state in India.

The main aim of the project is to address the issue that in lieu of having 5-10 smaller schools why not have one school catering to large number of students with all the modern facilities. The Challenge is to design a school for 400 students from Nursery to grade 5 with all state-of-the-art facilities.

INTRODUCTION A house is a building that has the ability to be occupied for dwelling by human beings. The term house includes many kinds of dwellings ranging from rudimentary huts of nomadic tribes to freestanding individual structures. It is a place of repose, activity and utility. One uses it for daily activities, for recreational purposes, for work. All this activities are different for different users.

The project seeks for innovative ideas in the design of a house, focusing in the relationship of the project with a specific client

The residence is designed for a singer and composer, so the design has a musical element to it i.e. RHYTHM

The design started with creating a composition of different sizes of blocks
