Task chairs
Movement is the key to creating healthy working environments. We need to design our offices in a way that encourages people to move and reduce sedentary behaviours. But sitting doesn't have to mean sitting still. Many of our task chairs are designed to promote active sitting. This means that the seat is not locked in a fixed position, but moves independently of the back, thus encouraging micro-movements and reducing time in static positions. A good ergonomic task chair also supports the back and contributes to a good posture, reducing the risk of occupational injuries.
What is good ergonomics? To create good ergonomics, you need to look at the total experience of a space, both physical and psychological. It is about movement, functions, tactile materials, acoustics, light, air and temperature, but also about the individual's experience of culture and community. When all these factors are in harmony, you achieve an inclusive whole - holistic ergonomics. With the right ergonomics in your interior design solution, you can influence behaviours in your environment, which in turn leads to employee well-being, creativity and efficiency.
