Our learning is taught using a range of linked learning styles and strategies. Most learning is presented in practical, play or exploration based approaches.

Academic levels are recorded for Literacy and Numeracy.

We follow the Scottish Government's Building the Curriculum guidance.

This curriculum actively promotes learning through experiential play and exploration opportunities.

Learning through play and experience is key to bringing learning to life. Outdoor play will be a large part of our school week, making great use of our lovely playground and field.

Your child will be outdoors for all of their breaks and can bring a healthy snack for each break too (please no sweets). Don't forget to make sure your child has suitable clothing and footwear for being outside.
