Students Student’s seeking a Medical Pathway will be supported by our experienced and dedicated team. Successful applicants will have a proven track record of examination success as well as evidence of key skills, which are developed through their Sixth Form journey and the Kingswood Medical Pathway.
The Kingswood Medical Pathway includes: UCAT GUIDANCE • Understand the UCAT process • Guidance on revision techniques and time management • Timeline planning for testing WORK EXPERIENCE Links to local hospitals, surgeries and opportunities in the medical field to help students stand out from the crowd. Support for Year 12 Work Experience Week and holiday periods. ADVANCED ELECTIVES Courses designed to support those joining the medical pathway, including a bespoke Introduction to Pharmacology course. MINI MEDICAL INTERVIEWS Over 30 short and varied interviews via a bespoke event with parents, alumni and local medical professionals. UNIVERSITY CHOICE Considering: • The difference in courses and application process • Which options may best suit each student KINGSWOOD MEDICAL SOCIETY Students are invited to join MedSoc, where fellow students and specialist teachers provide invaluable insights and support.
