WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO! October Half Term

Bring a Spooky Dish We enjoyed so much yummy food at our Halloween bring a dish!

Avondale Gym We had sooooo much fun jumping & climbing at the gym!

“Into the Hoods” Theatre Trip We had an awesome time watching the amazing dancers!

Christmas Holidays London Eye Thanks to the Jack Petchey Foundation we all enjoyed the dizzying height of the London Eye!

Harry Potter Studios

Under 12s Christmas Party We all enjoyed a panto performed just for us and seeing Santa was great!

We had a wizarding good time at the Harry Potter Studios! Thank you Surbiton Farmers‘ Market!

TEENS PAGE Film Review — Spectre We were really excited to see Daniel Craig again in this year’s blockbuster hit “Spectre” from the James Bond film series.

A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the truth behind SPECTRE. We thought the opening scene and credits were EPIC! We give the film a 7/10.

UNDER 12 DROP IN The under 12s drop in is always lots of fun. We have a great time doing arts and crafts, playing games and just chilling out after school! Snacks and drinks are provided so all you need to bring is YOURSELF!

FAMILY ACTIVITIES

One of our families had a lovely time at the Olympia Horse Show!

Our families had a great time at our Christmas Bring a Dish day!

The entertainer was amazing and the food was so yummy!

YCP NEWS AND UPDATES Emma, our Young Adult Carers’ Support Worker, supports carers aged 15-25.

As well as offering a variety of social activities, Emma supports young adult carers on a one-to-one basis.

We are so sad to be saying goodbye to Chrissy, who left us at the end of December.

Jack Petchey We would like to congratulate Conor Lavender and Jas Singh on being awarded the first Jack Petchey Awards at YCP.

Rotree This year The Rotary Club of Kingston welcomed us to fundraise for the Young Carers’ Project under the “Rotree”.

The 1st-7th December was Crohn’s and Colitis Awareness Week As you can see we embraced the #PurpleFriday vibe in the office
