One of the great things about Kingston is the strong support our community has for arts and culture.
Whether it’s enjoying live music, having a laugh at a comedy show, visiting an exhibition or trying something new, the arts give us opportunities to come together, connect and share experiences. That’s why I’m pleased to welcome you to another exciting season of Kingston Arts, with a program that offers something for people of all ages and interests.
This season, our popular Live at City Hall series returns with performances from Australian music icons Christine Anu, Deborah Conway and Willy Zygier. Comedy at the Shirley is also back with another fantastic line-up to keep audiences entertained throughout winter. Morning Melodies continues to be a favourite, bringing great music, wonderful memories and the much-loved sounds of our historic Wurlitzer Organ.
Our visual arts program also continues with a range of free exhibitions across Kingston’s galleries and public spaces. These exhibitions showcase talented artists and provide opportunities for our community to engage with creativity in accessible and meaningful ways. Kingston is home to a vibrant creative community, and Council is proud to support opportunities that celebrate local talent and make arts and culture accessible to everyone.
