1000 BOOKS BEFORE SCHOOL

For preschool children 0-5 years.

Share 1000 books with your child in the years before they start school to prepare them for formal learning and nurture a love of books, reading and language.

It’s never too early to start reading to your child – even newborns. You can read a thousand different books or read one book a thousand times! Books experienced at library story time sessions, preschool, daycare and playgroup can also be counted towards your child’s total.

You’ll get a free library bag when you register, there are milestone rewards to collect as you progress through the program, and of course there’s a certificate at the end. The program is completed when your child reaches 1000 books or they start school.

Register via the Beanstack App and collect your bag from the library.
