Wayne Da Silva Pereira

Access to Higher EducationMedicine & GCSE English

Wayne was previously a mechanic but wanted a change of career. He had the opportunity to shadow nurses and doctors in hospital for a week, and that determined that medicine is what he wanted to do.

Wayne said, “To anyone thinkingof returning to learning as an adult I would say you should not be afraid. You will not be alone and don’t think that you are ever ‘too old’ to change your life. As long as you are happy in the future, then going back to education will have been one of the best choices you could have made.”
