PRIMARY STUDENT LEADERSHIP

I am ver y grateful for the oppor tunit y to lead the student leadership team and student body in primar y this Year. From the moment I stepped into KSAB I k new it was the per fec t school for me. I love par ticipating in academic and ex tracurricular ac tivities and K ings’ has given me countless oppor tunities in per forming ar ts, music, spor ts and academics.

As Head Girl I have been able to contribute and give back to the K ings’ communit y and be involved in many oppor tunities to represent the school. K ings’ S chool Al Barsha is a ver y special school which encourages students and helps them to achieve their dreams.

I t has been a real privilege to be Primar y Head Boy at K ings’ S chool Al Barsha this year. I joined KSAB in Year 4, and I can cer tainly say that I am proud to be par t of this outstanding communit y where all children are given oppor tunities in various fields, whether it be in per forming ar ts, academics, spor ts, computing or the many other areas on offer

The K ings’ motto is “ The Best By Ever y Child ”, and I can proudly say that our teachers bring out the best in our students. Days such as our Swim G ala, Spor ts Day, Ar t Week and more give students a chance to showcase their many diverse talents. K ings’ S chool Al Barsha is a truly diverse school with over 70 nationalities and everyone is welcomed, valued and celebrated.

SECONDARY STUDENT LEADERSHIP

I remember star ting at K ings’ S chool Al Barsha in Year 7, filled with enthusiasm and hope for the years ahead. I have grown as the school has grown, and I have been incredibly for tunate to be able to give back in my role as Head Girl this year. As a Student Leadership Team, we have accomplished so much this year, from reforming the understanding of well-being to establishing peer mentoring systems, and organising celebrations for our wonder ful suppor t staff, just to name a few.

Thank you to our wonder ful team, our House Captains, Council Presidents, Vice Presidents and Prefec ts as well as the suppor t of Ms R ingshaw, Ms Rooney and M r Bloy, who have enabled us to make so many positive changes this year.

I am ver y grateful to the staff and student body for believing in my potential and giving me the position of Head Boy to ser ve my peers and the wider school. I t has given me the oppor tunit y to develop my leadership sk ills, to fulfil an influential role, to broaden my horizons, and to gain a deeper understanding of different cultures.

As Head Boy, I have been ex tremely luck y to steer our student council. As a group, the student council has the willingness and abilit y to help shape change and introduce new initiatives within the school. We have valued ever y individual ’s contribution and thoroughly enjoyed seeing ideas come to fruition.
