STAFF CHARITY FOOTBALLTOURNAMENT 2026
Another successful Staff Charity Football Tournament took place at Birleys on Wednesday 3 June, bringing together colleagues from across the school for a fantastic afternoon of competition and fundraising. rd Teams representing Catering, Sports Centre, Academics, Gardens & Grounds, and Premises battled it out on the field, with the Sports Centre emerging victorious and lifting the 2026 trophy Well done Team!!
THE EVENT RAISED £174.00 FOR THIS YEAR’S CHOSEN CHARITY, THE AIR AMBULANCE KENT SURREY SUSSEX
Jack completed the Maverick Peak District 55km Ultra in 7 hours 40 minutes. A 55km trail race with 1,214m of elevation which covered steep climbs, rocky descents, moorland and river valleys.

He also completed Super Seven, a fitness endurance challenge. The event combined functional fitness with endurance-based challenges, Jack completed this in 1 hour 20 minutes.
Kirsty has graduated with a First Class Honors Degree in SEN + Inclusion studies
Her reaserch has also been selected to go in an exibition at a event for her University at the Turner Contemporary in July!

Mandatory Compliance: Smoking and E-Cigarettes
Smoking of cigarettes and e-cigarettes is not permitted on any of the school sites. Any employee who wishes to smoke must do so during official break periods and away from the premises or in designated smoking areas.
Please note: Due to operational requirements within the Sports Centre, staff breaks must remain on site; therefore, leaving the premises to smoke during shifts is not permitted.
This policy is in place to ensure we maintain a safe, healthy, and professional environment for our students, visitors, and one another. Failure to adhere to this policy may result in formal action in line with the school’s procedures.
