Kingfisher Leadership news Just released! 2017 - the year of year of changing gear. In the Philippines, 30 pastors and leaders graduate from the Kingfisher leadership training course
38 people are baptised and a further 38 children are dedicated
In Africa, 18 new pastors are ordained in ceremonies throughout Malawi. Bibles are distributed to be used in churches in Mozambique
In India, we will be travelling to the Punjab in November for the first time to hold a leaders’ conference for the growing number of Kingfisher churches in that region
In Spain, also in November, we will be welcoming in the Fellowship of the King, a church-planting network of churches along the south coast, to be a part of the Kingfisher International Family.

Treasure Seekers, the Social Enterprise has been honoured withThe Queen’s Award for services in the voluntary Sector. Described as ‘…the highest award given to volunteer groups across the UK’, this award is an MBE for the organisation as a whole rather than for any individual person. It is a huge honour for us all, a real validation of all that we stand for and the difference we are making in society. Jan and Katie were invited last week to attend a Garden Party at Buckingham Palace (see below), and the official ceremony, led by Dame Janet Trotter, the Lord Lieutenant of Gloucestershire to mark this award will happen sometime over the next couple of months. Whilst this is a big surprise in human terms, it is very much in line with the message of the new book, The God of Promise. Four years ago, God gave us a promise: ‘You will dine with kings and princes and you will in no way be inferior to them’. As Jan and Katie spent the day at the garden party in the company of HRH Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, The Duchess of Cornwall and many more, we are able to marvel once more at how our God is the God of Promise - ALL His promises are backed by all the honour of His name!
