What began in 2020 as a single food distribution during the pandemic has become a framework for community transformation. RULES OF PLAY There will be one team score for each hole. Each player tees off, and the team chooses the best drive or shot. All players play from that location and choose the best shot again. Follow this format for all shots, chips, putts, etc., for each hole until the completion of all eighteen. If you are in a threesome, rotate hitting for the missing fourth player. Bogey is max score per hole (please pick up after you reach par). • Players 65 and older will play from the white tees • Gentlemen 64 and younger will play from the blue tees • Ladies will play from the red tees Exception: Ladies, please play Holes 5 and 17 from the white tees. Both hole-in-one contests on those holes require a minimum 100-yard shot for all players, and the red tees on these two holes fall short of that distance.
PACE OF PLAY Be mindful of the groups behind you. Please keep pace with the group in front of you. If your group falls behind pace and is out of position, Lakewood staff has the right to move you back into proper position. If your group is moved ahead, you will retain a par for the hole skipped.
GOLF ATTIRE GUIDELINES Proper golf attire is required for all guests of the event, including collared shirts, Bermuda length shorts, dress slacks, and (for ladies) golf skort or golf dress. No cutoff shorts, tank tops, sweatpants, sundresses, miniskirts, athletic or yoga pants, or denim. Only soft spike golf shoes are permitted — no metal spikes are allowed. No open toe shoes or sandals.
