April 2022 Gather Guide

HELLO KFAME FAMILY This is truly the day the Lord has made, and we are rejoicing in it! As you read these words, what we have prayed for, believed God for, sacrificed for, and worked for, is now a reality. To God be the glory! As we celebrate three years of being Kingdom Fellowship AME Church, we not only have land – we also have a beautiful Worship Center that we can call our own, and where we will worship Jesus. Where millions of lives will be saved and transformed by the power of God. Where ministry will impact the DMV area and the world. Where men and women who are far from Christ will get to know the love, power, and joy of Jesus Christ!

This is a great day brothers and sisters for us to celebrate and to remember for generations to come. We have officially entered into our Occupy Season. Please remember that while we are occupying this Worship Center for the Lord, you should also be praying about the areas in your life that God is calling you to occupy and take over new territory.

April is packed with great ministry events and opportunities for you and your family to celebrate with us, including times to tour our wonderful new Worship Center. Details will be available soon. Don’t forget to text the word Gather to 240-201-3300 or simply click here to register for all of our in-person worship experiences. From our Good Friday worship experience to our night of consecration with Bishop T.D. Jakes and Bishop Hezekiah Walker, this month we believe God will do more than we could ever imagine. Our prayer is that several people will come to see Christ in a new way through what will be done in our Worship Center. Be sure to share this information with a friend.

While I am extremely excited about the Worship Center, I am also thankful about the work of our Kingdom Global Community Development Corporation.

At the end of April, we will dedicate our Worship Center and then walk across the parking lot for the ground-breaking of the Care Center. Through this Care Center, we are believing that thousands of people in our region will receive the support services they need in order to live a substantial and sustainable life.

Even though it has been two years since we have been able to gather together as a full congregation, God continues to do a marvelous work. I am looking forward to what the Lord will do this month in each of our worship experiences.

Don’t forget to register for each experience and invite someone to join you as God makes an impact in their life, too! Lastly, we are also celebrating this awesome time in the history of Kingdom Fellowship AME Church through our Commemorative Journal. It will be available soon.

Mondays 7 PM – 8 PM via Zoom: Begins Monday, February 28th; Ends Monday, April 11th Wednesdays 7 PM – 8 PM via Zoom: Begins Wednesday, March 2nd; Ends Wednesday, April 13th The theme for the 2022 Lenten series is Sacrifice to Serve. Each week, participants will have an opportunity to explore what the Bible says about faith that leads us to sacrifice and serve.

Starting the week of February 28th, groups will be offered on Mondays or Wednesdays from 7 PM to 8 PM for a seven-week virtual journey to Easter. There is no need to purchase material as facilitators will guide you through discovery and discussion of God’s Word.
