2014-2015 Catalog King offers programs that lead to the following degrees: the Associate of Arts, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Business Administration, Master of Education, Master of Science in Nursing, and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees. King is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, masters and doctoral degrees. King is certified to operate in Virginia by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia. The teacher education programs are approved by the Tennessee State Board of Education. The Nursing program is approved by the Tennessee Board of Nursing, and is a member of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing and accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. The Athletic Training Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). The athletic program is approved by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II. King is a member of the Tennessee College Association, the Tennessee Independent Colleges and Universities Association, the Appalachian College Association, the Tennessee Fund for Independent Colleges, the Council for Independent Colleges, the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities, the Association of Presbyterian Colleges and Universities, the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities, the Holston Associated Libraries, the Association of Independent Liberal Arts Colleges for Teacher Education, the Tennessee Association of Colleges for Teacher Education, the Tennessee Association of Independent Liberal Arts Colleges for Teacher Education, the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs, and the Association of American Colleges and Universities.
