You can fix the QB error code 15271 by editing the Windows registry issues in the following manner –

1. Press the Windows Start key to write a command in the dialog box and hit Enter, and hold the Ctrl + Shift keys to access the permission box.

2. Select Yes and wait for the black box with a twinkle cursor to appear, and write regedit, followed by hitting Enter and selecting Failure 15271.

3. From the Registry Editor, go to the File menu and choose Export to select the folder where you want to save your backup data & choose Selected Branch from the Export Range.
