1. Ensure to install QuickBooks desktop on a new computer

4. Now move the backup file to the new computer
5. You can also restore the backup on your new computer
To restore the backup file, follow the steps given below:
6. Go to the File menu in QuickBooks
7. Then tap on open or restore company
8. Then select restore a backup copy and then tap next
9. Now look for the backup file you stored
10. Now select open
11. Tap on save as soon as you are ready
