Folk Festival is a jewel in the summer calendar of British music and cultural events. Few events could claim to be centred around a village green as peaceful, picturesque and family-friendly as Kimpton.

You’ll love this day out - with friendly faces, world-class musicians in great-sounding venues, families having all-day creative fun, a free outdoor stage on a classic village green with tasty local food and drink, buskers, workshops, sessions at a great pub with lovely ales… and a BBQ! Just some of the reasons we love Kimpton Folk Festival so much. We’re particularly pleased to be presenting our second Patrons’ Concert introducing rising star Holly Clarke, blessed with a stunning voice and a huge heart. Have a great festival! Bu$k£rs stop, listen, throw money!
Our buskers have always been an important part of our festival, bringing colour and entertainment to all corners of the village. This year we have another brilliant array of talented musicians at the busk stops. So do stop, listen and show your appreciation in the form of a few coins in the case!
