The Homer Blow Foundation

Homer Blow is a legendary DJ, founder and activist. In 1994 Homer forwent a birthday party for himself to personally fund The Birthday Party for the Kids; a free community event, that provides children from economically challenged families a day of fun. This annual event offers free food, games, fire safety education and positive police interaction with MPD to over 4,500 attendees. Upwards of $10,000 is spent on toys alone to ensure that every child leaves with a "birthday gift".

Victims of Milwaukee Violence

Victims of Milwaukee Violence Burial Fund has services families who have lost loved ones to violence. This is done through providing informational resources for burial, grief counseling, finding resources for housing, and more. The organization has even assisted in Crime Victim Compensation Programs for Milwaukee residents who have lost relatives in other cities.
