We are thrilled and humbled to present this year’s catalog, offering a diverse set of genetic opportunities designed to complement any operation, anywhere. Whether you are joining us for the first time or have been a steadfast supporter for years, we are deeply grateful for your interest and encouragement.
As Nikki’s health took a drastic turn earlier in the year with complicating organ issues due to extended chemotherapy treatments, we made a decision to forego this year’s sale to devote our focus on her recovery. As that decision was made known to Josh, he developed the Southern Fleckvieh Alliance with Brad Ballew & Genry Ellison to ensure the continuity of the sale for the sake of both the consignors and buyers. It is only because of their dedication that this year’s sale came to fruition.
We give thanks to God for his provision and plan for Nikki and her slow, but steady recovery. We continue to experience the power of prayer and God’s favor, both of which we are not worthy of but forever grateful for.
God has blessed us abundantly, and the long-standing success of this sale is a direct reflection of the countless contributions from Sponsors, Consignors, Buyers, Workers, Family, Friends and, most importantly the Fleckvieh breed that unites us all. It is an exciting time to be a Fleckvieh enthusiast, and the opportunities to secure key breeding pieces have never been greater. For this and so much more, we sincerely thank you for your interest in the Magnolia Classic 2025.
God Bless Y’all!
Jason Gress

If you are looking for novel Canadian genetics without the hassle of importing, meet Red Oak Lisbeth. Born and raised in the heart of Dixie, Lisbeth is a moderate framed, deep bodied, dilution free heifer whose maternal side traces to BEE Couture 663D, dam of BLL Rumble 62H. Add Anchor T Legend and Titanium to her mix and you have the kind of heifer that will positively influence most any herd. Lisbeth is AI bred to the recently deceased base of Red Oak’s herd, Little Creek Xpress 840X.

Red Oak Lilly is a deep red, super easy fleshing heifer with loads of volume and a polled head to boot. Lilly’s maternal sister is doing a great job for Vincent Rodrigue in Canada after she sold at the 2024 Back To Grass Sale. With APLX Coach, Little Creek Xpress and BHR Baron stacked in her pedigree, you cannot go wrong with Red Oak Lilly.

This IPU Romano 90X daughter is out of an outstanding cow that has offspring working hard in Fleckvieh herds across the country. Leanne’s form and style are as pleasantly unique as her pedigree. Uniqueness isn’t always desirable, but in this case, it certainly is. If you take the time to closely inspect Leanne and watch her move, you will want her in your front pasture.

RADIOACTIVE 030E DAM: LITTLE CREEK KACEY 109K ASA#4101274 LITTLE CREEK BRIELE 551B
Red Oak Marie is a homozygous polled Coach heifer with just enough chrome to catch your eye. To sell bulls to commercial producers, we need polled, non-diluter, heavy weaning, calving ease cows. Marie checks every one of those boxes! Marie’s amazing dispositon comes from APLX Coach 37J as well as her dam, Little Creek Kacey, who probably tried to lick every person who walked the pens of the 2023 Magnolia Classic. The polled JNR’S Titanium calf she carries should be equally impressive.

Simply put, Red Oak Lovely Lady is aptly named. I believe she may be the most beautiful heifer consigned by Red Oak Farm this year. Her sire, Kuntz Climax 12C, provided power a plenty. Red Oak Foxy Lady provided her polled head and smoothed all that power into a strong yet feminine package. Ultrasound shows that Red Oak Lovely Lady is likely carrying a Little Creek Xpress heifer. Don’t pass on this opportunity.

PE: 3/13 to 4/13/25 Red Oak Lithium (ASA#4388103)
Red Oak Lori should not be leaving Red Oak Farm. Three generations of her maternal genetics have grazed our pastures and been positive influences on our herd. They have all been the type and kind of cows that made me fall in love with Fleckvieh in the first place. Lori’s depth of body, good feet, polled head, and fantastic disposition make her the real deal. Ultrasound shows she bred to Black Gold Elevation, but either way, the calf she carries should be the keeping kind too.

Homozygous Polled, Non-Dilutor
Since her first Magnolia Classic appearance as a calf in 2019 to sell full sibling embryos, Foxy Lady has garnered a lot of attention. Her impeccable front third, excellent udder conformation, and smoothness from front to rear make her a standout, but what puts her at the top of our herd is CONSISTENCY! Her embryos are sticky and her calves just don’t miss!
Southern Fleckvieh Alliance
The Southern Fleckvieh Alliance would like to invite you to experience the Magnolia Classic 2025!
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 tells us that “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: if either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them.”
If two is better than one, then four is certainly better than two! The Southern Fleckvieh Alliance, composed of Little Creek Cattle, Circle E Farm, Old Magnolia Farm, and Red Oak Farm, formed to help share the task of hosting this great event.
Our primary objective is to keep the Magnolia Classic strong for many years into the future. All four farms got their respective starts in the Fleckvieh breed through Dr. Mikell Davis, Little Creek Farm, and the Magnolia Classic. We want those new to the Fleckvieh breed as well as seasoned producers to have a southeastern venue to showcase their top genetics and grow their reputation for excellence within the Fleckvieh family.
After all, the Magnolia Classic truly is more than just a cattle sale. It is an annual Fleckvieh family reunion, southern style! See y’all there!

Although we have participated in the Magnolia Classic in years past by consigning frozen genetics, it’s long been a goal to consign a heifer to this prestigious sale. But not just any heifer, we wanted to wait until we could bring a heifer that would well represent the Den-Mar Farm breeding program. 2025 is the year. We have brought four that we believe you’ll like and that will work and produce and find their place in your front pasture. Thanks for your consideration and here is the first heifer. Den-Mar Mable is exactly what you would expect from Raptor and out of a Sibelle Spartacus cow. She’s growthy, with a strong top and wide stance. Two big goggles, polled and a non-dilutor. With an excellent set of EPDs, you really can’t go wrong with a heifer like Mable. Raptor heifers are becoming increasingly hard to find. Here’s a good one.

JCS Maxine M432 has a pedigree to build with and has many avenues to use. Sired by NAC Battle Cry and her homozygous polled Anchor D Gibraltar dam blended calving ease, power and femininity . We didn’t think we would let this one out of the herd. Hanna twisted my arm to showcase one of our heifers, as she is halter broke as well. Ultrasound August 4, safe to AI with twins. Her AI mating to Anchor D Outlook will be special.
Historians of Fleckvieh will appreciate the cow family represented in these two heifers. A5225 was our pick from Arnold Brothers dispersal. We had limited results with embryo work, however, we had 2 outstanding daughters from her and they each added many females back into our operation. Over one-third of our females trace back to this great matron, including these two heifers. They are genetically deep with tradition. Both of our consignments have DNA results, are polled, non-dilutor and will calve as two year olds.
JCS Mable M441 is the first female offered by Virginia Lombardi. Her granddam produced outstanding females and bulls. Several Fleckvieh greats line this pedigree. M441 will be a great investment for the long haul in the cattle business. Ultrasound August 4, safe to AI date. Her mating to FGAF Radioactive will be a great calf to start her career!

Red Oak Meredith is one flashy heifer! This is one of the most balanced heifers I have produced. Her pedigree, EPD’s and phenotype make her really stand out in the heifer pen. Most of her looks and disposition come from her dam, Red Oak Johanna who was a Grand Champion at both NAILE and Dixie Livestock Exposition. Since Meredith is a Coach heifer, she’s also polled! This mating has produced a heifer that is powerful, yet feminine. This is your chance to buy the first Red Oak Johanna calf to ever sell!
75N is a calf very hard to let go from the farm. Coming out of a Geronimo cow we purchased from Wolfe Fleckvieh in 2019, known as “the space cow” for her unique color pattern, 29G has turned into a moderate cow with great feet and bag. We sold a daughter in our 2024 heifer sale and kept last year’s heifer for ourselves. This year’s model has good length of spine and moves out nicely with a smooth muscle pattern. She is as super quiet as all the calves have been out of this cow. She shows a lot of the best qualities of her dam and sire and we think she is going to turn into a special female.
We are excited to have been asked back to be a part of the 2025 Magnolia Classic. We have picked a couple open females out of our Kinetic herdsire to make the journey down to the southern states. The calves off this homo polled bull have all been very consistant and so structurally correct.

We made a decision to hold onto our females this year in an effort to do some “rebuilding.” The top individuals in this group of keepers just happen to be Spartacus females. Easy calving, good structure, scale pounding mass yet feminine in their make encompass all these heifers. They are exactly the type of female that aged out and left Little Creek through the years. Discussion with an intern recently yielded an important point. That point being, if an animal is to have any value in a breeding/seedstock operation, they have to be able to “Breed Up.” As I explained, the offspring resulting from use of either cow or bull should be as good, or better than the parent. We should never be achieving negative results, or an animal that is of lesser quality. Coach has been widely used and has produced both bull and heifer offspring of the highest quality. He has bred up, producing offspring with big/sound feet, tremendous volume and an even temperament. Use him on Flecks or in crossbreeding situations to achieve the next level of polled progeny.

His make is comparable to the Little Creek bulls we have strived to produce…. a more feminine type head, smooth shouldered, and a middle 1/3 dimension providing for the capacity to give way to explosive growth. He is sound of mind, a quality that is definitely an inherited trait. The calves out of his dam, Bri, have all followed her tendency, certainly serving as a factor in weaning weights seen. Fertility, productivity, workability, all characteristics of Huntley and the cow family from which he comes. An exceptional polled bull sure to improve any herd.

The polled Sibelle Sugar Ray was part of a set of flush brothers who have created quite a bit of attention. A pen leader in performance, Sugar Ray was purchased as the high seller from the Synergie Bull Sale where he combined a soft build with excellent muscle expression, dark red color pattern and a thick hair coat. Now deceased, he was smooth made and very fluid in his movement on a nice foot. We searched many years to source a polled Fleckvieh bull with the performance traits that our customers demand and his production has not disappointed. His calves lead their respective groups with muscle dimension, depth of body and strong bone structure. His daughters show tremendous promise with added mass while maintaining feminine features and his daughters are some of our favorite young cows. He has bred true to type and sired the $355,000 BLL Rumble 62H and numerous high selling daughters. His dam is a broody, strong uddered cow that is already leaving a tremendous impression on the breed and Sugar Ray continues to leave his mark. Stored at Hawkeye, Iowa
