Welcome to the 2025-2026 Fleckvieh Simmental Fullblood Federation Directory! We are excited to give you the best resource for Fleckvieh genetics from the United States, Canada & Australia! As we strive to strengthen, promote & expand our breed, our membership base has remained constant; we have lost a few Members and gained several new ones. Our goals as Fleckvieh, Fullblood, and Fleckvieh Genetic breeders have also remained constant: Promoting the Fleckvieh Fullblood breed and continuing to show the Commercial breeders the benefits of Fleckvieh genetics on their herd. More and more commercial cattlemen are choosing Fleckvieh sires to improve carcass quality, yield grades, as well as adding pounds to the scales and heterosis! It must be working as we are selling more bulls, year after year, to those farms and ranches and have people actively seeking our genetics.
Our FSFF Junior membership continues to be strong, and the 2024-2025 show season highlighted our Juniors and their representation and dedication to the breed. The FSFF Board is dedicated to supporting these Junior Members and we are adding more money to our scholarship program, along with Breeders who are donating to the Junior program specifically. FSFF paid show premiums to our Junior winners at AJSA Jr. Nationals, NAILE, Cattleman’s Congress & Dixie Nationals. Additionally this year the FSFF will be sponsoring a Fleckvieh Junior Show in Canada! Be sure to check out the Show page and see why we are so excited for the future of our breed! FSFF is excited to add a second Junior scholarship that will be awarded in May of 2025 and moving forward annually. These scholarships will be awarded to promote young new breeders’ development into the industry. Additionally, this year we are working on a new website with an added commercial producer page to promote Fleckvieh and Fleckvieh influenced cattle to the cattle industry. Also, we will be exploring new advertising opportunities through international, national, and regional avenues.
The success of our breed has always been about you, our Members! We may be a small breed in numbers, but we are mighty as a group with our dedication to preserving and improving the Fleckvieh Fullblood genetics that started the breed. Please do not hesitate to contact us with your thoughts and ideas of improving the Federation to make it work better for you! GOD
BLESS,

The FSFF is a non-profit organization created by Fleckvieh breeders to promote the advantages of Fullblood Simmental Fleckvieh cattle around the world. Our diverse group breeders work diligently to develop superior genetics as we continue to educate purebred and commercial producers on the benefits of Fleckvieh genetics in their herd: Increased heterosis, excellent fertility, calving ease, strong maternal traits, calf vigor, polled and horned and dilution free genetics, increased carcass weight. The FSFF works with the American Simmental Association, the Canadian Simmental Association and other registry associations to track our cattle worldwide.
Membership dues are collected annually and are $100 USF, for US/Canadian/International breeders. With your paid membership, your farm will be listed on our website listing of breeders on Fleckvieh.com and printed in our membership directory. Memberships are due in January of each year and run through December. Renewal forms are emailed/mailed to existing members each year. You can also renew your membership on our website @ https:// fleckvieh.com/membership-application/. Our website has a link to pay with PayPal or with a debit/credit card through Square (with additional processing fees).
The FSFF continues to reach our fellow breeders through Facebook, Instagram and on our website at Fleckvieh. com. We offer a classified ad page for our members to sell live animals and frozen genetics. Each member receives a 30day free ad listing per year. Additional listings can be set up for a small fee. We also will list sale dates for your farm on our Sales page. You can reach us by email @ Fleckvieh.fsff@gmail.com and watch for our emails for Federation news & announcements.
The FSFF uses several outlets to promote Fullblood Simmental Fleckvieh cattle. We advertise in several print publications through the year including, Progressive Cattle, The Register/SimTalk, Gulf Coast Cattleman & The Stockman. We are working to update our website in 2025 and hope to have a new version rolled out late this year.
Our FSFF booth is on the road multiple times each year to sales and shows in the US & Canada. All visitors to our booth can pick up a copy of the directory promoting our members along with other promotional info on the Fleckvieh breed. We also offer FSFF shirts & hats for purchase. Please contact us so we can schedule to attend your next event.
Our 2024 Annual Meeting was held on September 20th, 2024, at the Notus Farmhouse in Muldrow, OK, in conjunction with the 2024 Fleckvieh Heritage sale. The meeting opened with a meal catered by JC’s Bar-B-Que Place. Jacob Prior, FSFF Vice President, blessed the meal. Lance Smith of Log Land Farms introduced Fleckvieh Source Genetics, a new business providing elite Fleckvieh genetics from industry-leading bulls, that can be purchased on one website and shipped from one location. Bill Zimmerman, ASA SimSpecialist, spoke about Fullblood registrations, bull transfers, and percentiles. He also encouraged the group to consider entering steers in the ASA Steer Profitability Competition and talked about the need for a Sire Evaluation program cooperator who would be willing to sample Fleckvieh bulls. At 7:55 pm, Board President, Ben Estes, call the annual Business meeting to order. He discussed membership status, advertising year to date, fundraising year to date, show premiums for junior members, and the financial update. He advised that three Board openings were uncontested this year, so Jacob Prior, Terry Bowman and Justen Stark were each elected to new terms. Jacob Prior presented the 2024 Jr Scholarship to Coy Stephen at the meeting (see article for more information). During open discussion, an Jr members asked about having a FSFF Junior Board. Steve Jensen motioned to create a Junior Board; Fred Schuetze seconded that motion; motion carried. The business meeting was adjourned at 8:15 pm. A Live auction of several donated items followed the business meeting (see next page for details). It was a great evening of fellowship with those that love Fleckvieh cattle!
The FSFF would like to take this opportunity to thank Lance & Lacy Smith of Log Land Farms, who graciously donated the facility for the 2024 annual meeting as well as everyone that worked to help make the meeting a success: Tanner & Michael Reed; Randy, Raven, Shawn & Ethan Hertlein; Mylia Richards & Jason McLean; Ben & Sara Estes; Jacob & Kathryn Prior; Terry Bowman & Payton Klein; Bill & Penny Zimmerman.
In 2024, we had successful Silent Auctions at the Back to Grass Sale in Henderson, Texas on May 18th and at The Fleckvieh Heritage Sale in Roland, Oklahoma, on September 21st. We had a wide variety of items at both sales. Thanks to everyone that donated and purchased items at our silent auctions and a big thank you to Jacob Prior with Wild Track Cattle, Ben Estes with Estes Ranch and Lance Smith of Log Land Farms for their continued support of the FSFF, allowing us to have these auctions.
The FSFF thanks PINE BROOK ACRES of Southwick, Massachusetts, for their donation of the St. Nicholas, the Rocking Bull, who was hand made by Nicholas Demko Sr. of Cedartown, GA. St. Nicholas made appearances at shows and sales in 2023-2024 and raised over $1800 for the FSFF Jr. Scholarship fund. Jacob and Kathryn Prior with WILD TRACK CATTLE CO., purchased the winning ticket for St. Nicholas at our Annual Meeting.
The FSFF thanks Ben Estes of ESTES RANCH and Jacob Prior of WILD TRACK CATTLE CO. for their donation lots #31 and #65 from their Back to Grass sale, as well as LA MUNECA CATTLE CO. for donating lot # 67. Fred Schuetze of SIMMENTALS OF TEXAS donated a “Visual Evaluation of Simmental Fleckvieh Cattle” book as a fund raiser at the sale, and we thank him as well.
The FSFF thanks Lance Smith with LOGLAND FARMS, who again donated a percentage of the sales from the Fleckvieh Heritage Sale, held September 21st, 2024, to the FSSF.
FSFF also thanks Josh Gardner with RED OAK FARMS, for his donation of a portion of lot #12 to the FSFF at the Magnolia Classic Sale held October 12th at LITTLE CREEK CATTLE CO. in Starkville, MS.
Our Live auction at the annual meeting help September 20th, offered several items with proceeds of nearly $16,000 going to the FSFF: Lots of (10) tickets for the St. Nicholas, the FSFF Rocking Bull; Five sale credits of $200 each to the Fleckvieh Heritage Sale, donated by Lance Smith of LOG LAND FARMS with proceeds going to the FSFF Youth Development fund; Three framed prints, donated by RICH MC FARMS; “Visual Evaluation of Simmental Fleckvieh Cattle” book as well as a framed one of a kind canvas print of the historic Amor 1A Border Crossing, both donated by Fred Schuetze of SIMMENTALS OF TEXAS; Five Premium ads in the 2025-2026 FSFF membership directory. Thank you for these wonderful donations as well as all those that purchased these items at the Annual meeting. We cannot forget to thank our Auctioneers who donated their time and skills to the FSFF, Dennis, Cindy & Haydn Huggins, with Bordertown Auctions, from Muldrow, Oklahoma.
Fundraising is a critical part of the annual FSFF budget, and we cannot thank our Members enough for going above and beyond to support us! Watch our Facebook page for upcoming fundraising functions in 2025-2026!
FSFF was proud to award the 2024 Fred Schuetze Award to Randall & Jackie Townley, TNT Simmental Farm, of Cleveland, GA at the 2024 NAILE Fullblood show on November 17th, in Louisville, Kentucky.
The Fred Schuetze award is “awarded for outstanding service to the betterment of Fullblood Fleckvieh Simmental cattle and a significant improvement to the Fleckvieh breed”.
The Townley’s were nominated for the award based off the significant advances they have made getting their local youth involved with showing Fullblood Fleckvieh cattle. In their home state of Georgia, as well as neighboring states, they have had enough participation to have Fullblood classes in the local shows by partnering families that are interested in showing cattle with Fullblood Fleckvieh animals from their farm.
Larry Maxey of Maxey Valley Farm and the Fullblood Superintendent at NAILE wrote about the Townley’s:
“Randall Townley from TNT Simmental Farms, Cleveland, Georgia is truly an inspiration for his untiring commitment to supporting our juniors and his efforts to establish Fullblood shows in his area. As a result, he was successful in establishing the following: Gwinnett County FairLawrenceville, GA; Madison County Fair-Comer, GA; Heifers in the Hills-Dahlonega, GA; Clemson University-Clemson, SC; Governor’s Agricultural School-McCormick, SC; Bartow County Classic-Cartersville, GA; Coosa Valley Fair-Rome, GA & Georgia State Heifer Shows-Perry, GA. Beyond those achievements and far more important has been his unselfish and dedicated supports of our juniors. He has mentored and financially assisted more than 50 juniors in the process. It is clear that they and their families have become the closest of friends and have formed a large extended family.”
The FSFF was a proud sponsor of the 2024 World Simmental Fleckvieh Congress, held July 29th-August 4th in Calgary and Olds, Alberta, Canada! Our friends at the Canadian Simmental Association hosted an exciting event that was attended by Simmental breeders from around the world! FSFF Board Members, Ben Estes of Estes Ranch, Jacob Prior of Wild Track Cattle Co. and Jason McLean of Rich MC Farms attended this event. It was a great opportunity to join other breed enthusiasts in the heart of Canadian cattle country! From farm visits to the YCSA National Classic Show, to site-seeing the beautiful Canadian countryside and the exciting World Simmental sale, it was a spectacular event highlighting the Fleckvieh Simmental breed!
The FSFF appreciates the support we receive from the American Simmental Association. This year, as in years past, they shared their booth at NCBA Cattle Con, in San Antonio, TX with us!

Membership in the FSFF Jr is open to anyone 21 years of age or younger, as of January 1st of the membership year. Membership fee is $20.00 per year, with $5.00 of each membership going into the Jr Scholarship fund.
The FSFF Jr Members are the future of our breed and the next leaders of the Federation! We are extremely proud of their dedication and hard work in the field of agriculture and the Fullblood breed! We especially thank those Jr Members that participate in Fullblood Simmental shows on a local, state and national level! Thank you for all you do to promote our Breed!
In September, FSSF Jr members submitted photos in 2 categories: Cattle & Farm Life. Each Junior member could submit one photo in each category. We chose (2) random attendees at the Fleckvieh Heritage Sale in Roland, Oklahoma to pick a Grand & Reserve Champion in each category. All attendees at the sale were also asked to vote their favorite in the People’s Choice category.
CASH PRIZES WERE AWARDED TO:
• Cattle Division: Grand Champion: Kinley Peters-Cattle #2
• Cattle Division: Reserve Champion: Maverick Peters-Cattle #4
• Farm Life Division: Grand Champion: Payton Klein-Farm Life #4
• Farm Life Division: Reserve Champion: Kinley Peters-Farm Life #2
• People’s Choice: Shawn Hertlein-Farm Life #5
Each of the winners was mailed a check for their winning photos! Thank you to each of our Jr Members for their participation!
FSFF realizes that each organization is only as good as their membership. Getting our youth excited and involved with the Fullblood breed is critical to ensure our future! FSFF is proud to continue to support our Junior members with the FSFF Jr Educational Scholarship!
$1000 is awarded to an applicant who has been a FSFF Junior member for at least the past two (2) years and who is at least a senior in high school (or equivalent) during the fall-spring calendar school year. As of the fall of 2024, a scholarship was awarded annually to qualifying applicants.

In April of 2025, the FSFF Board of Directors voted to revise the FSFF Jr Scholarship rules to award two (2) scholarships, at $1000 each, per year. One will be awarded in the Spring of the year and the second one in the Fall. Exact due dates of applications will be communicated through our social media page on Facebook and Instagram.
CONGRATULATIONS TO COY STEPHEN of Montrose, Missouri who was chosen as the 2024 FSFF Jr Scholarship winner. Coy is attending Ozarks Technical College in Ozark, Missouri, studying General Agriculture. He is the son of Matthew & Jessica Stephen. Coy was presented with his check for $1000 by Jacob Prior and Ben Estes at the FSFF Annual Meeting!
Thank you to each of the Junior members that submitted applications! FSFF would also like to thank all of our Members that have donated over the years to the Scholarship fund! It takes a village to support our youth and we certainly have that with our Members!
