Her philanthropic efforts have not gone unnoticed. Firuzeh also serves on the advisory board of the CU College of Music and is an advocate for The Local Theater Company. She is dedicated to supporting students and their artistic journeys, believing that investing in the next generation of musicians and creative leaders is priceless. “I also do talkbacks at the Boedecker Theater on Iranian movies,” adds Firuzeh. “Movies have always been a big part of my life, and sharing that passion with others is incredibly fulfilling. Seeing film lovers engaged and asking questions about Iran and having deep conversations about society and human emotions is a joy I truly cherish.”

“The scenic hiking trails and the close-knit community convinced me that one day, I’d live here,” she shares. True to that vision, in June of 2000, fresh out of college, she moved to Boulder—a decision that has enriched her life in more ways than one.

Almost 20 years ago, Brandi met Firuzeh in a setting that felt both professional and destined. While working in marketing for the Colorado Music Festival at Chautauqua, Brandi was introduced to Firuzeh—a long-time supporter and board member of the organization.
