Micheál O’Mahony 1922-2001 Stories of the impact of the Irish Civil War in Killorglin Micheál O’Mahony was born and grew up in Killorglin. He was a noted Local Historian and came from a well known Killorglin family from just over the Bridge in Laune View. He later lived in Marian Terrace, Killarney.

He documented a lot of local history for the benefit of future generations.
