8TH ANNIVERSARY FLEMING (NEE O’SULLIVAN)

In loving memory of Julianne Fleming (Nee O’Sullivan) 79 St Brendan’s Terrace Killarney Who died on 9th July 2015.

Juls A heart Of Gold

The 9th of July 2015 was a lovely day, and I was on my way. To visit my wife in hospital, in Cork that day.

Julianne was just finished her dinner, I made great time.

I asked her “how she was” she said, “thank god I am fine”. The nurse came in and said I have good news for you. You’re leaving us today. The ambulance is going to Tralee, and you will be there for a few days.

We both shed a few tears, she said “Thank God and St Anthony, they are always there for me”. I gave her a little kiss and said, “I will see you tonight in Tralee”.

About 5.30 that day two Guards came to my house, I said “Can I help You”.

They said,” Can we come in”, I said “Walk through”.

We had a few words and then they said, “We have very sad news for you”. “Your wife Julianne passed away in the ambulance on the bypass” I said, “this can’t be true”. I said” I gave her a hug about 3 hours ago and said goodbye”.

They asked me if I was ok, and I began to cry.

They said, “are you alone” I said, “my daughter is having a rest”. I said, “I will call her, tell her to get dressed”. I went upstairs and knocked on her door and said, “Mam is dead”. She opened the door and said, “Dad do you realize what you just said”.

A female and a male guard, they were great and stayed for some time.

They asked me “could I go to the funeral home at 6.30pm, I said “that will be fine”. We went down and I had to identify the body of my beautiful wife.

It was the saddest thing I ever had to do in my life.

I said, “Can I have a few minutes with Julianne on my own”. I put my hand on her hand and said” wake up and I will take you home”. We said prayers, and when we came home, people were coming and going.

At around midnight we were there on our own. People brought hot and cold food, Noel O Sullivan (R.I.P) gave me his house for people to stay. At times like this you know your genuine neighbours and friends, they were helpful in every way. On the day of Julianne’s mass, we thanked God for her past.

Fr Jim Linehan who celebrated a very meaningful mass. Thanks to Tadghie, choir and O Shea’s undertakers, who did it so well. And the people who attended the mass and burial, gave Julianne a lovely farewell. We stopped at The Caragh restaurant, Julianne worked there for 28 years and made great friends. Then on to Aghadoe where Julianne’s last journey would end. They brought the coffin and laid in on the grave. I said to my family “we must be brave”.

Fr Jim said the rosary and sprinkled holy water on her coffin. And I said to myself” this is one day that will never be forgotten”. When they covered the grave, I said “this truly the end”. To a wife and a mother, our forever friend.

Julianne was someone I could talk to, that no one can replace. She was someone I could laugh with, till the tears ran down my face. The next time I meet you Julianne will be at Heavens door. And when I see you standing there, I won’t cry anymore. I will put my arms around you and see your smiling face. Julianne, then the pieces of my broken heart will fall back into place. There are lovely wives and mothers, that’s very true. But Julianne I can only speak for myself, thank God, I married you. Good times and bad, happy, and sad.

Julianne, we can’t complain about the life and the family we had. We did our best for our family, that’s all any mother and father can do. Julianne, I didn’t waste 54 years of my life with you.

Your loving husband Donie XX ***

Mother

On the 9th of July 2015, our hearts were broken, it was a very sad day. Our beautiful mother Julianne suddenly passed away. If there was a road to Heaven, we would have driven up that day. And asked God to give us back our mam, and we could carry on the same old way. They say memories are golden

To some maybe that is true

But we never wanted memories

All we ever wanted was you.

Mam, we want to tell you something

So, there won’t be any doubt

You’re so wonderful to think of But so hard to do without.

Always missed by you loving children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. xx

7TH ANNIVERSARY LONG

In loving memory of Noreen Long Inches, Rathmore, Co. Kerry Who died on 6th July 2016. R.I.P.

We don’t think of her as gone away her journey’s just begun Life holds so many facets this earth is only one.

Just think of her as resting from the sorrows and the tears In a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days or years.

Think how she must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away. And think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched For nothing loved is ever lost and she was loved so much.

Always loved and remembered by your daughters Geraldine and Lisa, Son Timothy, sons-in-law John and Anthony, daughter-in-law Paula and your loving grandchildren.

O Holy St. Anthony, gentlest of Saints, your love for God and charity for his creatures made you worthy when on earth to possess miraculous powers. Miracles awaited on your word which you were ever ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought I implore you to obtain for me my request (request). The answer to my prayer may require a miracle, even though you are the Saint of Miracles, O gentle and loving St. Anthony whose heart was ever full of human sympathy. Whisper my petition into the ear of the sweet infant Jesus who loved to be held in your arms and the gratitude of my heart will ever be yours. Promise publication. ES

In loving memory of Anne O’ Sullivan

Late of Knockeragh

Who died on 7th July 2003.

My life is but a weaving between my Lord and me I cannot choose the colours He worketh steadily.

Often times he weaveth sorrow and I, in foolish pride forget that He seeth the upper and I the under side.

Not till the loom is silent and the shuttles cease to fly shall God unroll the canvas and explain the reason why.

The dark threads are as needful in the weaver’s skillful hand as the threads of gold and silver in the pattern he has planned.

Still loved, still missed by all your loving family.

Oh Jesus, has said all you ask the Father in my name, he will grant through the intercession of Mary, the Most Holy Mother. I humbly beg and urgently ask the Father in thy Name that my prayer be granted (Make request here) Oh Jesus who has said Heaven and Earth shall pass away but my word shall not pass away through the intercession of Mary, the most Holy Mother. I feel confident my prayer shall be answered. (Make request). This novena is to be said at the same time every hour for nine consecutive hours – one day. Promised publication, never fails. SL

Novena To The Sacred Heart

You have said, O Divine Jesus, who said, ”Ask and you will receive, Seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you.” Relying on these promises, I come with confidence during this Novena to beg of you the favours that I need: Amen. DG

MIRACULOUS INVOCATION TO SAINT THERESA, THE LITTLE FLOWER

O glorious St. Theresa, whom Almighty God has raised up to aid and counsel mankind. I implore your miraculous intercession. So powerful are you in obtaining every need of body and soul our Holy Mother Church proclaims you a “prodigy of miracles, the greatest Saint of modern times.” Now I fervently beseech you to answer my petition (mention here) and to carry out your promises of “spending Heaven doing upon earth...of letting fall from Heaven a shower of Roses”. Henceforth dear little flower, I will fulfill your plea, “to be made known everywhere” and I will never cease to lead others to Jesus through you. Amen. Say the above for 9 days and you will receive a flower or a rose, in some form during or after 9 days as an indication that your request will be granted.
