Prostate cancer talks at Dr Crokes on Monday

Dr Crokes Spring programme of Health Initiatives concludes on Monday at 7.30pm

This month’s topic is Prostate Cancer. “Everyone from the community is welcome to attend at Dr Crokes Clubhouse. A well -known Sports Personality will tell his story and his journey through Pros- tate Cancer from shock to recovery,” said club official Eamonn Fitzgerald. Refreshments will follow and the opportunity to discuss the realities of prostate cancer with this person. Confidentiality will be respected.

Cancer is the biggest killer in Ireland. An estimated 44,000 people in Ireland get cancer each year.
