Fourth arrest in Rath murder case
A fourth person has been charged with the murder of Killarney man Thomas Dooley at Rath Cemetery in Tralee.
Gardai are continuing their investigation into the October 5 incident.
On Wednesday of this week Gardai arrested a male juvenile in his late teens. He was charged and appeared before Tralee District Court the same day.
“Investigations are ongoing,” said a Garda statement.
This brings the total arrested to four people.
They are Thomas Dooley from Cork City who's the cousin of the dead man, a 20-year-old man, also named Thomas Dooley and also of Cork City and the dead man's brother 35-year-old Patrick Dooley of Arbutus Grove, Killarney. The fourth person cannot be named due to his age.
They have all been charged with the murder of Thomas Dooley and assaulting his wife Siobhán Dooley. A book of evidence is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
