ABOUT US & WHO WE SERVE The mission of Kids Cancer Alliance is to enhance the quality of life for children with cancer and their families through recreational and support programs.

Beginning with our first oncology camp in 1982, Kids Cancer Alliance has given thousands of brave and amazing kids a reprieve from fighting cancer and a place where they can just be kids. Over the years, we’ve expanded to provide sibling and family programs as well as in-hospital and financial support.

As a non-profit organization, Kids Cancer Alliance relies entirely on donations to keep our programs completely free for every kid, sibling and family.

We are endorsed by Children’s Oncology Camping Association, Kentucky Cancer Program, Better Business Bureau and the Kentucky Nonprofit Network.

All of our programs are designed to help children with cancer and their families have enjoyable experiences, create valuable memories and enhance their quality of life.

Banding Together for Brighter Tomorrows.

Jay & Lisa have been proudly supporting Kids Cancer Alliance for over 15 years.

FAMILY HIGHLIGHT A Connection Forged in Hope Cancer brought them together, but hope and deep friendship define their story. Jude (diagnosed with highrisk neuroblastoma at 13 months) and Levi (diagnosed with high-risk medulloblastoma at 6 years) prove that even in the unimaginable, joy finds a way.

Through Kids Cancer Alliance retreats, summer camps, and family days, the boys and Jude's little sister, Jenna, have built a childhood filled with laughter while their moms, Sophia and Danielle, found steady anchor points in each other. Two moms who if not for cancer, may not have met, but now have more similarities than differences.

Their families have participated in Kids Cancer Alliance’s Family Retreats at Great Wolf Lodge, Family Day Events at the Louisville Zoo, Kentucky Kingdom, and Malibu Jacks, and have sent their boys to Camp KCA for three summers. Levi and Jude pick right back up where they left off each time they see each other. Never skipping a beat before jumping into playing with Jude’s little sister, Jenna, while their moms are able to catch up.

AUCTION POLICIES 1. Each incremental bid amount is displayed on OneCause and constitutes a valid bid.

2. Each new bid must be entered into the OneCause system or you may enter a Max Bid which will allow the system to bid on your behalf.

3. Only an authorized OneCause administrator may nullify a bid.

4. The live auction will begin and continue without interruption until all items have been auctioned.

5. The details for live auction packages, including blackout dates and restrictions, can be found online on OneCause or in the printed event program.

6. During the live auction, the bidder will be acknowledged by the auctioneer.

If the auctioneer determines that an opening bid or subsequent bid is not commensurate with the value of the item offered, he may reject the bid and withdraw the item for sale. If after having acknowledged an opening bid, the auctioneer decides that an advance thereafter is not of sufficient amount, he may reject the advance. The auctioneer retains the right to announce conditions of the sale at any time. In the event of any dispute, the auctioneer will have sole discretion in these matters.

7. On our auctioneer’s “sold” announcement, title to the item and/or services will pass to the highest bidder who assumes full risk and responsibility therefore.

By his or her purchase, the buyer waives and releases any claims of liability for personal injuries or damages to property against, and the buyer hereby indemnifies Kids Cancer Alliance Inc., the auction committee, and the donor or any of the agents or representatives is responsible for any person injuries or damages to property that may result from the utilization of the property or services sold.

8. Payment by the successful bidder must be made in full on the evening of the auction.

9. All sales are final. There will be no refunds or exchanges on items by the donors or this institution where specified or unless the donor is unable to fulfill obligations as described.

10. Purchasers are asked to respect restrictions stipulated by donors and not request changes.

11. Values set forth of items being auctioned are donor estimates and are not warranted by the auction committee for tax purposes or general value.

12. Items must be picked up at the event or at the KCA office within 90 days. If an item is not picked up or arrangements are not made within 90 days, the item becomes property of KCA and may be resold at their discretion. For details regarding item pickup please see OneCause.
