It is commonly said that exercise brings endorphins. Another way to get an endorphin boost is to have fun with friends. Here we are combining both fun and exercise to create the perfect way to increase endorphins and feel good.

Simon Says ( touch your toes, reach your hands up, etc.…)

Benefit

Stretching helps elongate muscles so you can continue to have or increase your range of motion. The better the range of motion, the less injuries your body will endure and the better you will feel when moving around.

Workout

Every minute on the minute for five minutes complete as many burpees as possible

▪ Example: 0:00- 1:00 (9 BURPEES) 1:00 – 2:00 (9 BURPEES) 2:00-3:00 (BURPEES) … keep going until 5 minutes is up.

Warm Up Benefit

3 minutes of Jumping Jacks

Squats are the ultimate functional movement. People squat every day to sit down. Practicing squatting builds strength in your legs and core to ensure you can continue to do every day movements easily.

Workout

7 Minutes: 15 squats 10 sit ups 5 pushups repeat until time is up

Building strength at an early age helps with coordination and prevents injuries down the road.

Workout

6 minutes ( each station 3 times)

30 seconds at each station

Waiter Tag Game

Exercise 5

Warm Up Benefit

Freeze Dance

Benefits: Running increases the heart rate. Doing this for a longer period of time helps strengthen the heart muscle. A stronger heart muscle means the body can more efficiently send blood to other areas of the body keeping the body happy and healthy.

Workout

10 minute Relay race with a friend. Person 1 Runs 20 meters down and back and tags person 2. While waiting that person will hold a plank until their partner returns. Keep going for 10 minutes.
