Actor, dancer, activist Written by: Gianna Simonelli Photography: ADJ Media Clothes by: @rich_boys

Meet sixteen-year-old Donielle Tremaine Hansley from Virginia, an accomplished entertainer and passionate activist who is on a mission to be far from the ordinary. You may recognize his face from the big screen, the dance floor, or your Instagram feed, where he is otherwise known as @IAmLilDeeDee. Donielle was drawn to the entertainment industry at only four-years-old, and has since been building a star-studded résumé with credentials that include dancing alongside industry greats like Missy Elliot, Chris Brown, and Usher, and starring in the 2020 drama Charm City Kings as teenaged “bad boy” Lamont. Even with having accomplished so much for his young age, Donielle showcased humble demeanor by sharing that his greatest achievement is “…reaching people all over the planet and inspiring them to want to be more than [just] ‘normal’.” The Virginia native uses social media as a platform to communicate with and update his fans on his latest projects. He recognized these platforms to be effective for networking, meeting like-minded people, and encouraging his followers that they, too, can accomplish their own goals. Even throughout the global pandemic that has plagued 2020, Lil Dee Dee reminded us that the grind never stops-- it’s only modified to include the necessary precautions like wearing a face covering, washing your hands regularly, and maintaining a six-foot distance from others. While the pandemic

WE NEED TO EDUCATE THE YOUNG AND PROTECT OUR FAMILIES. has been on the forefront since March of this year, America is simultaneously battling a different, internal disease of racism since the generational injustices perpetrated by police brutality against black Americans has finally gained the attention it deserves. As a prominent community member, Donielle is dedicated to sparking change and inspiring those around him. He shared, “I support #BlackLivesMatter 100000%! We need each other [during these] critical times! We need to educate the young and protect our families.”

YOU NEVER KNOW WHO LOOKS UP TO YOU OR WHO YOU COULD BE INSPIRING. YOU COULD BE THAT BIG HOMIE TO SOMEBODY THAT YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW, SO THAT’S WHY I TRY TO SET A GOOD EXAMPLE IN EVERYTHING I DO...

Making a difference in his community is a top priority for this ambitious teenager. He leads by example in nearly everything he does, and is motivated by the opportunity to inspire the next generation to turn nothing into something. According to the dancer-actor, “You never know who looks up to you or who you could be inspiring. You could be that big homie to somebody that you don’t even know, so that’s why I try to set a good example in everything I do, so we can motivate and inspire these schools full of kids!” Donielle believes that education is the key to widespread change in America, and encourages others to read up on both history and current events, and to do your own research because this type of work truly matters and can begin a chain reaction. Not only is Donielle committed to working towards his craft and fulfilling his personal goals, but he is devoted to contributing towards a better tomorrow by being the inspiration he was born to be.

FEATURED PHOTOGRAPHER

Hardlight Photography TEENS AND TWEENS By Michelle Elizabeth

Hardlight Photography Group is a California based family run business that specializes in Dance photography as well as Conceptual, Fashion, Portrait, headshots and portfolio work. Miguel Trejo is the photographer and his wife assists on set, runs their social media and does the scheduling. Miguel’s Brother-in-Law helped start the business, however shortly after, he ended up having to take a different path. Hardlight Photography Group also has a California child performer permit which means that he is finger printed and licensed through the state, giving clients peace of mind regarding safety. Miguel Trejo is a formally trained photographer who studied photography and film making at Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL. He first became interested in photography when he was 15 and working on a local broadcast TV show. He enrolled in a photography class because he wanted to learn how to illustrate a film through photos and videos and needed some practice with perspective and storytelling. From then on, he was hooked. After obtaining his AS degree in Film Making, Trejo only pursued his passions part-time because he got married and started a family. He felt that the filmmaking lifestyle didn’t work well with having a family, so he got a full time job outside of the field.

KidFashMagazine.com/September 2020 25

IT IS VERY REWARDING TO SEE THE SHIFT FROM A CLIENT BEING SCARED TO TAKE A PICTURE TO ENJOYING THE PROCESS OF SHOOTING. Trejo explains, “I like being a part time photographer because I can be more creative and not have to worry about it being my living. It also allows me to offer more affordable pricing to clients.” What Miguel likes most about photography is the creative process- coming up with an idea and seeing it come to life. He says that the hardest part is helping others overcome their nerves but it’s still something he really enjoys doing. He elaborates, “It is very rewarding to see the shift from a client being scared to take a picture to enjoying the process of shooting. Though it may be a challenge it is also an incredibly rewarding part.” He has 2 children, 1 girl and 1 boy. As his daughter grew and developed a love for dance, Trejo realized how much he missed taking pictures, so he turned his focus to a style of photography that would help support his daughter's interest while also providing other dancers with affordable photography options. He says, “I believe that taking pictures should be a fun and relaxed experience and that photography should be affordable and accessible to all.” 26 KidFashMagazine.com/September 2020

As a teen Trejo says that he was “Overly serious, always busy. I worked at a very young age and balanced studies, high school sports, competitive sports and work. For me balancing how busy my life was as a teen. I am not sure I have fully overcome it. I am still really busy balancing family, a full time job and part time photography. Sometimes I have 33 clients in one weekend. I do not like ever telling someone I am fully booked so instead I will often work a 13 hour day with no lunch to fit everyone in.”

Miguel Trejo has had many inspirational teachers and role models throughout his life. He says, “I love learning new perspectives and techniques... Everyone has a story to tell through their photos. I find myself inspired by my clients, and grateful for the friendships I have made with them.”

In his free time he likes spending time with his children, resting, relaxing, and cooking. He also enjoys photographing landscapes and scenic places. His favorite kind of photography is Photo journalism. For him, In Miguel’s opinion, the best part of photographing the most fun kind of photoshoot to do is Light painting. teens and tweens is creating together. He says, “Teens He says, “I love working with shapes and creating and tweens usually are starting to have creative Ideas of shapes. It is a new style I am still learning.” their own and helping them bring those ideas to life is rewarding.”

I LOVE LEARNING NEW PERSPECTIVES AND TECHNIQUES... EVERYONE HAS A STORY TO TELL THROUGH THEIR PHOTOS.

KidFashMagazine.com/September 2020 27

I TAKE THE SAFETY OF OTHERS SO SERIOUSLY FOR ME IT HAS MEANT STOPPING WORK TO PROTECT THE HEALTH OF OTHERS The biggest obstacle Hardlight Photography Group has ever encountered is the current Coronavirus Pandemic. Due to state guidelines and restrictions they have paused in person photo sessions so it has put a hold on the business for now. He says, “I take the safety of others so seriously for me it has meant stopping work to protect the health of others… We have not fully overcome the obstacle yet but many other venues and organizations are dealing with the same challenges.” In the meantime, Hardlight Photography Group is living each day as it comes and focusing more on their family. The pandemic has also brought about more creativity. Hardlight Photography Group recently start

doing “Virtual Photoshoots” to stay active. Miguel explains, “I use facetime or skype to take photographs from a distance. It usually involves enlisting the help of a parent to hold the facetime camera on their child. It has been wonderful because I am meeting clients in areas I have never traveled to.”

As kids go through their transitioning stages of life towards adulthood Trejo advises, “Never be afraid to create, try new things and be an individual.”

What teens and tweens can do right now to make the world a better place is to “Speak up and have a voice. If you see something wrong in the world realize how you Miguel’s advice for other aspiring photographers is to react and act can make a lasting impact.” always be yourself. He says, “Be yourself. Never change your art for others or conform to what you think the World expects of you. People appreciate what is unique.”

SPEAK UP AND HAVE A VOICE. IF YOU SEE SOMETHING WRONG IN THE WORLD REALIZE HOW YOU REACT AND ACT CAN MAKE A LASTING IMPACT.

Siena

Speaks Up

By Michelle Elizabeth Photography by: Matt VanAken (@element_snap_shots)

Bullying, and other forms of peer-to-peer abuse, have been around as long as humans have been able to communicate. Despite constant outcry from adults and children alike, this issue is still prevalent in society in all sorts of forms. KidFash proudly stands with victims of bullying and will not stop speaking up against this traumatizing injustice until bullying comes to a long-awaited end. When you are the victim of bullying you can sometimes feel like you are all alone, or that there is something wrong with you. We want you to know that there is nothing wrong with you and you are not alone! All kinds of people get bullied… even celebrities!

A real friendship is something that feels genuine.

Say hello to teen actress Siena Agudong. This 16 year old actress starred in Netflix’s No Good Nick, the Nickelodeon series Star Falls, the inspirational movie Alex & Me, and the recently debuted Disney Channel Original Movie Upside-Down Magic which is based on the beloved book series. Even though she is a successful teen star, she has also been the victim of bullying. She bravely opens up, “I have experienced different kinds of bullying throughout my life but more so when I was younger. In some of the situations, I could see that what was happening was wrong, but in others, it took me years to realize the relationship was not healthy for me. Secrets and rumors spread and I had a hard time trusting people. Growing up, I never felt like I truly had a solid group of friends that I felt trusted me and that I could trust. It made me question my intuition and the words people promised me”. Even now, Agudong still gets scared when trusting people with certain details of her life. One good thing that came out of the experience is that Siena grew closer to her family members since her friend group always seemed to be shifting. She says, “Being bullied will lead you into a range of different emotions. Sometimes, you can take what the bullies say to heart and it can manipulate the image you have of yourself. Sometimes, you can take the words people say and use them to inspire yourself to work harder and be happier.” Eventually, Agudong met a group of people who showed her what real friendship is. She worked on a project with them and it really changed her life. She states, “A real friendship is something that feels genuine. You are not tired at the end of the day feeling like you couldn’t be yourself. You are there for them and they are there for you. From then on Siena started KidFashMagazine.com/September 2020 43

surrounding herself with people who truly made her feel happy and loved. She found activities that made her feel confident and full of joy. Siena explains, “I valued the time I had with my family. The immense amount of love that was brought into my life from these changes was beautiful.”

Siena Agudong also admits that Social Media can be a huge influence in children’s lives as well. She confesses, “Social Media has actually taught me a lot about the world around us and helped me through many challenges in my life from tips I find. Of course, there is also the factor of comparing yourself to others online which can be detrimental. Social Media can spread information and influences in an efficient and thorough way which is so impactful when it is used correctly. Above all, the important thing to remember is that there is life outside of your screen that will teach and show you valuable lessons that you cannot get anywhere else. We need to learn things from experience. Life has much more to offer than watching others live theirs.”

She strongly believes that the people children are around have the biggest impact on them. She says, “People shape the way we think and act daily. This influence should be considered wisely as it is very powerful. Thoughts turn into words, words turn into actions, actions turn into character. This is why being surrounded by the right people will change your life. With that said, it is so important to be the person who inspires other people to be the best versions of them- Agudong believes that kids can make a difference in the world by harnessing the power of Social Media. selves.” She explains, “In this day and age, we have direct access to thousands of people online which should be used positively. Keep learning and listening to the things happening around us. Sign petitions, donate, vote, listen, peacefully protest, and share the information around to friends and family. Don’t ignore important information and look away. This is the time we need everyone to be talking. Love and be kind to everyone around you.”

You have the power to

pick up the pieces and change your words and actions for the better.

To put an end to bullying, Agudong believes that we need to stop comparing ourselves to other people and just admire them instead. Siena elaborates, “We begin to tear people down when we are feeling insecure. We also need to know that our words are so powerful whether they are said face to face or through a screen. Either way, the effects can be irreversible.” She continues, “Other ways to prevent bullying is to be aware of what is happening to the people around you. Invite people to eat lunch with you, ask people how their day has been going, or how they are feeling. Actively greeting the people you see and complimenting someone randomly when you have the urge is so important. “ To the kids who are being bullied, this teen star advises, “You need to be strong mentally so that you are secure in your worth without needing people’s assurance or opinions. Surround yourself with people who make you feel happy, like truly happy. You should feel like they are there for you and you are there for them. Express your feelings out loud. Talk to people you trust and who will support you like your family, siblings, trusted friends, counselors, coaches, etc.” Agudong also recommends, “Find activities you love and that keep you active. No one can hurt you without your permission. Be kind to yourself and everyone around you. Work hard in school and have fun in life. Don’t let negative opinions hurt your heart when they don’t deserve to be there in the first place. Day by day.” To all the bullies, Siena says “You have the power to pick up the pieces and change your words and actions for the better. Your words and actions dig deeper than you will ever know and more than they will ever show you. Talk to someone, ask for help, and be aware of the words, actions, and tones you use toward yourself and other people.”

Model and More with

Jade Weber Written by: Sandra Sherard

Photography: Lilly K Photography

It’s just so fun to shoot something different every time, different mood, different types of clothing, and different photographers. Jade Weber is a French model and actress most notable for her stunningly, compelling portraits and editorial shots. The young model, who was born in Hong Kong and spent several years living in Singapore, now resides in Los Angeles, California where she is living out her dreams. Jade began her modeling career at the age of 9. She attended a photo shoot set up for her brothers and was unexpectedly discovered. Her siblings were taking acting classes at the time and were in need of some headshots. The photographer that had taken their headshots suggested that Jade take a few photographs and ended up sending one of Jade’s pictures to her sister, a director of a modeling agency. The photographer’s sister loved the outcome and wanted Jade in her agency, so Jade and her mother thought to give it a try. Thus, the gorgeous model Jade Weber was born! Over time, Jade grew passionate about modeling and the opportunities it provided. Getting to travel, work with different people, and bring new ideas to life is an amazing experience. “I really like working with different people and exploring different styles. Different moods and styles will create a different vibe in the pictures,” she says. Editorials are her favorite, but most of the time, the photographer will come up with a mood board or general idea for the shoot and Jade will run with it. “It’s just so fun to shoot something different every time, different mood, different types of clothing, and different photographers,” she continues. There are so many fun aspects of modeling and a lot to look forward when taking on this profession.

While modeling has it perks, getting into the industry isn’t always the easiest. There are many challenges that can be faced along the journey. Whether experiencing overwhelm from managing a busy schedule or dealing with a decline in shooting opportunities, there will always be an adjustment to make. Jade has learned to manage the stresses of life and the industry in her own way and it’s been really helpful for her. The most important thing to remember is to keep at it, regardless of adversity, if it’s what you really want to do. Jade emphasizes to always be yourself and uses these statements of encouragement when tough times present:

“Remember your worth, who you are, don’t give up, and build thick skin. I always think, it’s not the end of the world, what’s the worst that can happen? I can wait for something better. There are times like these, and it happens to everyone. It’s important to have talent, but there is also a luck factor.” 50 KidFashMagazine.com/September 2020

I love sleeping in and I’ve definitely slept in a lot during quarantine, but I always feel the need to be productive or at least do something in my day.

With attending many castings for TV shows and movies, Jade has to learn how to deal with the rejection that often occurs in this industry, but that isn’t reason to get discouraged. It happens to plenty of entertainers. That’s the nature of the business. The most important thing to remember is that the time will come when you get the chance to show your skills and land the role meant for you. Until then, practice ways to manage your stress in tough moments in your own way. It will help you so much! Now, Jade is ready to reach another level, surrounded by a full team, supervised by her manager Marina Masowietsky. Jade actually just got signed with Sovereign Talent Agency and she already feels at home. Altogether, they are very excited about the future! Speaking of challenges, the pandemic has shaken everyone’s routine up quite a bit. Having to quarantine has shifted most people’s daily schedules, including Jade’s. The changes haven’t been too drastic, but Jade is definitely getting a bit more time to partake in one her favorite activities. That is, sleeping! “I love sleeping in and I’ve definitely slept in a lot during quarantine, as well as vacationed, but I always feel the need to be productive or at least do something in my day,” she says. She’s also redecorated her room, started to learn guitar, read books and scripts, worked on her career, and worked out more often. Before quarantine, Jade would wake up at about 6:30am and go to school until 5pm. Then, she’d go home, do her homework, and go to bed. If she booked a job, she would have to skip school and manage her schoolwork along with her professional duties. Her main goal, overall, has been trying to remain productive in order to help her keep organized and feel better during this time. KidFashMagazine.com/September 2020 51

Balancing school, work, and her personal life is not as difficult as it sounds for Jade, but it can be stressful at times. She is usually excused from school and requests her schoolwork in advance, if she knows she has a job on a certain day. Jobs can sometimes come last minute, so it can make things a little more challenging, but Jade manages it very well. Her focus, at this time, is more on acting and music, since that is the direction she would like to transition to, so she doesn’t take on as many photo shoots as she did before. “I do more auditions and self-tapes. Self-taping is easy because you can do it on your own at your house. A lot of the time, though, I memorize my scripts at school because auditions can also come last minute,” Jade shares. It does affect her personal life occasionally. Hanging out with friends may have to be put on hold for work, but Jade typically sees them the next day at school. It helps that her friends have been really supportive. Quarantine has made that part a lot easier. Modeling may be Jade’s first love, but her aspirations go far beyond it. She plans to transition into primarily acting and singing very soon. “I’m really focusing on acting and music. I want to go to college and study either business or law too. I think that knowing that knowledge is really useful in the industry and as a young woman. I want to be independent,” she says. Booking a role in a Marvel movie is at the top of her list. “I would love to be in a Marvel movie! Marvel movies, especially the Avengers series, are some of my favorite movies and I’ve re-watched all of them!” 52 KidFashMagazine.com/September 2020

I would love to be in a Marvel movie! she tells us. While Jade has many other endeavors she would like to pursue, acting, singing, and meeting Taylor Swift are where her sights are set. In her spare time, Jade likes to watch Netflix, read books, and journal. She also loves being with her friends and listening to music when she goes out on walks for relaxation. As far as upcoming projects, Jade has a few movies in pre- and post-production that should be available for viewing soon, including “James the Second” and “Tiger Within.” Her plans to delve into music are pending, so she doesn’t have any projects she’s working on just yet, but she is looking into partnering up with a cosmetic brand to develop products that she’ll definitely be sharing. Jade is also a major advocate for domestic violence prevention. She recently joined the non-profit organization White Ribbon as an ambassador to use her voice and platform to spread awareness. Be on the lookout for upcoming projects and check out the White Ribbon organization for more information on how you can help! The only thing better than a brand that champions women empowerment, is a brand that provides the products and opportunities to actually empower young women to look and feel their best. CHICK was founded in 2017 to fill a need in the fashion market by offering unique and comfortable styles that appeal to teenaged girls and young women. The very DNA of this @360Fashion brand is integrated with diligent, independent, and successful women who embody CHICK’s values of empowerment. According to Brand Director Diane Vara, “We believe [that] every person has a voice that should be heard and [a right to] feel comfortable in their own skin. Our mission is to transmit that message through our fashion.” CHICK’s creative directors joined forces from strong fashion backgrounds to establish not only a brand, but a cultural movement. CHICK’s signature brand name was prompted by their target customer: “that everyday CHICK who they look to inspire to strive and be the CHICK she was born to be.” As CHICK introduces versatile, athletic, and trendy clothing to the market, it communicates the significance of self-expression and confidence. This message is reiterated through the brand’s distinguished CHICK Fashion Experience event that creates an unparalleled opportunity for models to be immersed in the fashion industry during the annual New York Fashion Week. In the company of like-minded individuals and under the guidance of successful industry professionals, aspiring participants experience the fashion world to its fullest extent. Imagine custom designer outfits, professional fittings, beautiful hair and make-up application, and runway coaching all before

that everyday CHICK who they look to inspire to strive and be the CHICK she was born to be.

Stay the course. It is definitely not easy, but [we] encourage all to be persistent, believe in your brand messaging, and remember that CHICK will always have your back! stepping in front of the camera for a photoshoot and commercial video that opens up New York Fashion Week. Models are also invited to network with inspirational women who have excelled in the overlapping worlds of beauty, fashion, and business. This once-in-a-lifetime event proves that CHICK goes above and beyond to manufacture character-building opportunities for the next generation to learn and grow from. CHICK’s Brand Director advises young girls aspiring to enter the fashion industry to, “…Stay the course. It is definitely not easy, but [we] encourage all to be persistent, believe in your brand messaging, and remember that CHICK will always have your back!” It is evident that CHICK’s brand message of empowerment is the driving force behind every project or experience they create. As for young girls who are interested in modeling or taking their career to the next level, CHICK advocates for authenticity and humility while in the pursuit for brands that align with your personal values and allow you to have fun! CHICK’s brand is living by the principle of self-growth that they preach, and have several exciting projects in the works for the future!

“Future is Female” T-Shirt is available for FREE Although CHICK’s initial plans for 2020 were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the brand has maintained its e-commerce platform for customers to shop and keep up with events with ease. During this time, CHICK has rolled out one of its biggest giveaway promotions at (www.iamchick.com), where their statement “Future is Female” T-Shirt is available for FREE and in the inclusive size range of 2T to Extra Large. This August, the growing brand has expanded to include subscription boxes for the 2020 holiday season. 2021 brings a new emphasis on marketing efforts in

South American countries, as to create more possibilities for aspiring models to participate in the 2021 Fashion Experience event. Just days after this year’s pre-eminent event on September 11th, is the online release of their new collection on September 15th and Kids Category for girls aged 8 to 12 in the fall. HOW TO BECOME A MODEL

Becoming an Online Sensation, But Beware of Hackers with

FELICIA THOMPSON BY: JENNIFER PUCCI STARR

Salamon Photography

Felicia Thompson @feliciathompson_official has always been an energetic beauty that just loves the camera! With major accounts from print to television that include Nike, Calvin Klien and Warner Brothers, her stunning looks and personality have led to a dedicated following. KIDFASH took time to talk with mom, Charlotte, about Felicia’s road to stardom, the hard work behind it, and how sometimes the attention she receives was always not the welcomed kind and the lessons we can all take away from it. Felicia started her first modeling job when she was 4 years old after her mom entered her into a modeling contest and began professional modeling a year later. “Since she was 5 years old she knew she wanted to be an actor and model,” says Charlotte. Felicia has since had lead roles in films, stage productions, been a radio disc jockey, performed live on international TV and modeled for big international brands like Nike, Adidas and Calvin Klein. She was also named Most Beautiful Child Model of 2019.

Navigating the Industry A big question when entering a child into the industry is whether you should hire someone to represent your child, handle it yourself or, as Charlotte does it, a combination of the two. Of course having your own discipline and drive will play a major factor in it, as Charlotte says the job is non-stop for her. However, they do have an agency and a manager to help with some of the larger commitments. Felicia was scouted by a top talent agency, but before signing the dotted line, mom did her research “Trusting yourself is key when you communicate with agents,” says Charlotte. “It is also very important for me that the agent has a genuine interest in Felicia’s career. My advice for all aspiring talents looking to begin in the modeling industry is to start getting your model poses right by having your family and friends take portfolio photos to make you comfortable with your professional poses. This is also very helpful now in the COVID-19 quarantine times. Practice will make you ready for the industry.” Agencies expect a certain level of professionalism from their clients. Charlotte spends much of her time checking all applications and castings, confirming attendance and responding quickly. “Some big agencies measure your response time as well, as your willingness to be ready and on the alert,” says Charlotte. “It has been a learning curve for me getting to know the professional industry.” Mom says Felicia maintains a positive outlook. “She is independent enough to find the challenge in a busy work environment both fun and engaging, and she has always had a clear focus on her own role and responsibilities.” Kids confidence is always important for the models. For the first jobs, parents should take the time to really explain the process. Charlotte says being comfortable communicating with the crew and cast, taking direction and always being on time will help with your success.

Felicia does enjoy the

attention, and she is a great team player.

“My most important role is supporting Felicia with organizing her work schedule so she can maintain the busy life combining school, performing arts studies and a professional career. I always stay close to her.”

Managing the Social World It is no surprise that staying updated on social media is important, even career changing for some models. Charlotte credits Instagram as one of the best platforms to promote your young star. “I spend 2-3 hours at least on Instagram - posting, responding to comments, searching for new business opportunities and making sure we support our friends.” Building up your profile takes time, but Charlotte recommends making it fun. Using the experience with a parent or guardian as the photographer can make your child more prepared for the professional jobs too. “We have to bring something fun and new to our feed every week. Posting often and regularly is important. Leaving comments and tagging and hashtagging brands can also bring you new followers.” The ever growing popularity of becoming a social media influencer is also a profitable area for a young model. An influencer is typically someone who has a strong following who has the power to influence others. Often times these influencers signs on with a brand to help promote them to their fans. Felicia has signed influencer agreements with Monnalisa, Derhy, Nununuworld, Marlo Kids and - latest House of Juniors. The most amazing deal is Lipsmacker - amazing products that Felicia has been collecting since she was 3 years old. She receives sponsor collections directly from the US and all new released products, and is part of the Official Lipbalmsquad representing talented Lilly K Photography KidFashMagazine.com/September 2020 85

It felt like a

personal attack on our hard working and

very talented daughter.

and successful girls. Halokux is another American brand she continues collaborating with.“A mix of professional photos and influencer photos makes your Instagram profile more popular,” says Charlotte. “Felicia does enjoy the attention, and she is a great team player. It is beautiful to watch her both receiving and giving appraisals and positive feedback. Unfortunately this is not uncommon and the social platforms are not having an easy time helping victims of these attacks to recover their accounts. Charlotte has sent numerous requests to the help and support lines on Instagram. “We have not received any feedback or assistance from Instagram yet,” says Charlotte. “We hope to receive communications from Instagram shortly and confirmation that they will use their well qualified Tech Support to restore it.” After losing the account, Charlotte nearly couldn’t bring herself to start over. “It felt like a personal attack on our hard working and very talented daughter,” says Charlotte. “It gave me moments to reflect, and I quickly acknowledged that Felicia’s career, successes and all hard work and dedication can never be deleted. Her achievements shines on and her very long and impressive track of jobs, films, theater and photo shoots are still the same. To be able to repost 3 years of work in the same way is not possible. So I decided to be more creative with using Behind The Scenes photos as well as the professional photos mixed up with inspiring words and messages to make it a story line representing Felicia in the best way. For me, posting on Instagram is Salamon Photography

Lilly K Photography

all about what and how we want to share the professional life of Felicia. I am very happy with the feedbacks we have gotten, and that our friends and followers appreciate something new from us.“ In the end the hackers did not win, as Charlotte and Felicia were able to rebuild the following thanks to all the dedicated fans. “We are absolutely blown away by the support from our friends, from magazines and International photographers we have worked closely with. I had to reached out to all designers and partners we have worked with to inform them about our new account. I don’t know if we ever will be able to recover paid partnerships deals as they are based on a high number of Followers. Felicia is just in the start of her professional actress and model career, I can only try my very best to represent her with my best work as I rebuild her Instagram account. I hope it never happens to you. Stay safe!” Fay Andrea Photography
