A FASTGROWING FORCE We are pleased to offer breeders another Australian Group One winning stallion with Alabama Express joining Grunt at Yulong this year. We had a fantastic response from breeders last year with Grunt covering 179 mares with exceptional fertility results and we are looking forward to his foals arriving in August.

Our new stallion facility will be open for the 2020 breeding season and we invite you to Yulong to inspect our stallions and view the stallion and serving barns.

Mr Zhang has continued his investment in our broodmare band with approximately 200 mares under the Yulong ownership and we will support our young stallions with these lovely well-bred mares.

The next year or two maybe not as easy as we thought, however we must remember that we are breeding this year to sell the progeny in three years.

We understand, we want to be able to assist breeders wherever possible to help them through the next couple of years. If you need assistance with mating analysis or simply making your financials work in regards to service fee payments, please give us a call.

Tagaloa (Lord Kanaloa - Vasilissa) G1 Blue Diamond Slipper winner set to join the Yulong stallion roster

Yulong Stud Home to our stallions, weanlings, yearlings and sales preparations, this 450-acre property has recently been upgraded so that it can be fully irrigated. With large open paddocks and newly completed state of the art stallion facilities, it is a property that would hold its own in any thoroughbred organisation.

Our new administration office is located at this property and the farm can be accessed off the Goulburn Valley Highway between Seymour and Nagambie.

THE TEAM

Farm comprises of 210 acres, 18 foaling boxes and several day yards.

Our resident vet and vet nurse are based at this property. They travel between Yulong’s three properties to ensure all bloodstock receive the best of care.

Yulong Park Our 170-acre property at Bayles is the home for all Yulong’s racehorse spellers. It is also our certified pre export quarantine facility for any horses departing to China. With individual day yards and larger paddocks, our racehorses get to enjoy the best of time relaxing during their spell from the training stables.
