As Yulong’s foundation stallion and Group 1-winning son of Champion stallion O’Reilly (NZ), Grunt provides the perfect combination of speed and endurance and is free of Danzig blood. Grunt began his three-year-old campaign with a fourrace winning streak, including the Group 3 CS Hayes Stakes and Group 1 Australian Guineas. He trained on at four to dominantly win the Group 1 Makybe Diva Stakes. Ranking elite amongst his generation, he retired with a Timeform rating of 123. Well supported, his first yearling crop has been well received through the 2022 Australian sales, selling to the country’s leading trainers for up to $300,000 and averaging over $100,000 at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
