HUIZE ALTIJD BLAUW

We are Huize Altijd Blauw, or in short HAB. We are one of the biggest, craziest and funniest student houses in Enschede. Our home used to be a textile factory, but nowadays we live here with 17 students, so there is always someone to hang out with. Every first Monday of the month, we meet for our house night, during which we often have an activity such as salsa dancing, laser gaming, or sometimes we just have a drink at home. Apart from the house nights we also do other activities, such as our brothers’ and sisters’ day. Furthermore, we celebrate ‘sinterkerst’ together. We then have dinner together and make presents for each other. But our biggest event of the year is our house party. Our entire house gets decorated in a specific theme, and we invite over 200 friends to our home to have an epic party.

We have a pool table, dartboard, and pinball machine within our home. We love to cook extensively in our large kitchen, and when we are not partying, we often watch a movie or play a game in our living room. We like to chill outside in our lounge set or in the swimming pool that we built ourselves with beer crates during the summer.

Next to all these activities we also go on holidays together, we’ve been on skiing holiday twice, and during the summer we often go away for a week. Also, some of us are active in clubs and associations such as euros, hardboard, DHC or various study associations.
