bear Editor My friends and I meet every Wednesday at 5.30 with Felicity and Elizabeth. We _are _called The Kibworth Youth Theatre . We _have already put on the play Charlie and the Chocolate Factory which was a huge success. We are practisingto put on Peter Pan in June 1994 and any neW members are We1Come . Gemma Bougourd (10)

Dear Editor I anm a member of the Kibworth Youth Theatre which is taken by Felicity and Elizabeth. At the moment We are practising Peter Pan which _we are goint to act out in June. We would be very grateful if more people would join because sometimes we don t have quite enough _people for all the parts: It is good fun and sometimes hard work but it all pays off When We do the plays in front of the public. Olivia Faye L Dear Editor The enclosed photograph represents the permanent state of the Smeeton Road recreation ground .

I am tired of cleaning up broken glass4 The shocking, dangerous vandalisn is constant1y replenished as empty bottles of wine, whiskey and vodka continue to be smashed .

Apart from the danger to children and dogs I am very worried about the Wi1dlife , Pparticular13y hedgehogs Which I rehabilitate. If they are damaged by the glass they will1 simp13y crawl1 away to become infected _and f1ly-~blown and die a miserable death!

Does anyone have a solution to the problem of vandalism? Does the Council care2

Dear Editor I anm a childminder who usually has a _double _pushchair with _me when collecting four children rom the school :

I am getting fed up of having to Walk on the road past Look because inconsiderate people are parking on the pavement, completely blocking the Way for even single pushchairsl

This does not set a very good example to ive year old children who knoWw they are not suppose to Walk on the road Not on1y is it il1legal to park on the pavement but it is also i1legal _to _park _so -close _to a roundabout . It seems many _people don t know this or,Cchoose to ignore it! _Do those same people agree With me that, legalities _aside, it is highly dangerous; pavements are meant for feet not cars!

Only yesterday,I very kind1y asked a female driver to not park on the pavement in future, as I d had to Walk around her car, onto the road , with just a single pushchair : was completely ignored and she wery quickly got into her car and sped of not before I d taken her registration number downt This 1lady knows who she is; so could , once again, ask her, along with all the other drivers who _par& there, to think about it in fature! Thank you. Susan Bauer 17a Station Street Kibworth Beauchamp
