Rosca de Reyes

My topic will be about a Mexican tradition called Rosca de Reyes. This is a type of Mexican bread that is in an oval or circle shape, depending on which one you get, or you can probably custom order it to be a different figure if you do not want an oval or circle Rosca de Reyes bread. There are three different types of sizes, small, medium, and large.

But then again, if you want an extra-small or extra-large etc. you could also custom order that Rosca de Reyes bread. The different sizes all have different prices, which will clearly affect the prices of the Rosca de Reyes bread. There are different toppings on the Rosca de Reyes' bread that all symbolize something different. To begin with there are red cherries and green candies, or red and green strips of candy. The red and green colors symbolize the jewels on the crown of the three wise men. There is also a plastic baby figure hidden in the Rosca de Reyes bread, and whoever gets the piece of bread that has the plastic baby figure inside makes food and invites people over for a "feast".

Basically, someone buys the Rosca de Reyes bread and invites friends and family over to cut the Rosca de Reyes bread. Each person takes a turn to cut the Rosca de Reyes bread and when everyone has their peace of Rosca de Reyes bread they start eating the bread until someone finds the plastic baby figure. After this, the person who ends up with the plastic baby figure they must schedule a date for when they will make the food and when the other people who will be invited will go to eat at the home who ended up with the plastic baby figure.

This year my mom went to her friend's house for the Rosca de Reyes bread, and lucky for her, she did not get the plastic baby figure. I was a little happy because if she did get the plastic baby figure I would have to help her make the food for the guests, which can be a little stressful at times because you have to make quite a bit of food.

Alien Filled Oceans

Why I think our oceans are filled with an alien creatures and why we might also be alien ourselves. My thoughts on the octopus is that it for sure is not from this planet just by the way it looks and mostly how much more intelligent they might be than we expected.

For example we have more information about the moon than our own planet's oceans. That should already be an indicator that we after all are all from different planets and have just adapted to the same planet.

Things like meteors that crash into our planet mostly target the oceans because that's what our planet is mainly made up of water. The possibilities that any meteor can carry new life to earth is unknown, but it could be high and finally finding out the whole ocean life could be impossible.

Currently we haven't fully got close to exploring all life in our oceans, but in the near future when technology become more advanced we could be able to map out and see life through the ocean waters. These are just some thoughts that could turn out true and others such as mapping out the ocean are already in progress to becoming a reality.
